How to keep the mass when fasting?

Hello,
I believe some form of fasting on some days, be it OMAD or fasting for 18 hours, is an important part in recovery for me.

I have fasted a lot last year. From 18 hrs, 20 or 24 or even 36 hrs. And now want to do it again.
I'm wondering how I can keep the mass though when I'm following such a lifestyle.

I'm of normal weight i.e. more a lean calisthenics physique. I can not eat so much at once. Sometimes I ask the chef so to remove some from the plate as I can't eat that much.

Is there any way I can fast regularly i.e eat like 2 meals a day and keep or even gain some more mass?

I know bruce lee used to invent all sorts of crazy pure protein meat diets. He was super thin but had crazy muscle strength.

but yeah, fasting that regularly isn't gonna build mass. I start with the exercise / building up my muscles and then do the fasting later / less regularly. Fasting for me serves two purposes, a spiritual cleanse and a way to remove excess fat. but I don't do it all too often.
