How to memorize lessons.

    Many of us here are students/teachers/learners etc. My question to those people is what do you do memorize what you are reading/studying? I am a law student and I have to read lots of laws involving minute details which sometimes just slip off my mind even after reading 5-6 times. I am looking forward to your suggestions.
