How to overcome a pornography addiction? one of the main steps in doing so is to hate porn.

Stop masturbation and stop watching porno won’t be probably enough to end porn addiction. Because the subject will be brought to you at work, at home, in party, in the street, including discussion with friend, associate or collegue, family. Publicity, radio, television, cinema, music, culture, internet, smartphone, dating app, how people are dressed, etc. Pornography and temptation will follow you everywhere you go, and turn on our primitive urges has become the standard in our modern society. So you should be prepared.

The question is how to resist such an invasion? How to resist against porn and temptations?

One of the main steps in doing so is to hate porn. In order to fight something, you have to understand and collect some intelligence. You must investigate, study, try to know every technical process and imagine yourself as filmmaker of porn movie. Knowing all this will help you to deconstruct pornography and give you the keys to resist. Like any business, porn industry has to be profitable. And when comes an issue, you may find astonishing solutions for most ordinary people.

If you love life and care about human dignity and each human living on Earth, then you must know that pornography is our greatest enemy. Fake, violence, humiliation, the reduction of women to the state of object are absolute necessary for porn industry to sell and survive.

I hope you will find articles, documents, books, documentaries about how porn industry works. Because that can’t be described and explained only by me. For example, the book of Gail Dines “Pornland: How Porn Has Hijacked Our Sexuality” is a good start.

    Here are some relevation …

Produce a tube, a scene, a video could takes hours of preparation and several hours of shooting to reach professional quality. Youth and teenagers have difficulties to identify what is real and what is not because the standard quality for this industry has to be very high. So the important question is:

What are the differences between real lives versus reality in the porn industry?

The ultimate goal for a filmmaker is to satisfy the eyes of the consumer and by the way, make profit. Nothing else matter. Shooting can last 2 to 6 hours. The thing is, ordinary person can’t have orgasm during 6 hours. Neither the actresses nor actors can. So, the use of stimulant product or anything like that is not an unusual practice, essentially for actors. By the way, did you know that major actors are homosexual in this industry? Why? Because they are the best performers for straight scenes. Actress often have to stimulate orgasm in order to respect the script. Some word, tag, password and sentences will be added to the scenario to make it more real. Over the years, violence has increased in porn industry… it’s not unusual that actresses simply pass out or the pain becomes not bearable. Of course, these “accidents” are cut off for consumer’s pleasure and they’ll never know it. You must know better about backstage production if you want to precisely understand what I’m talking about

Why should we know the differences and make this distinction?

The images of pornography are far from representing reality. In everyday life, there is in the majority of cases a phase of consent, tenderness, love before the sexual act. To verify this, ask women who are willing to answer you, your friends, family, etc. In order to sell and survive in the porn world, the reduction of women to an objectivity and the absence of consent is absolutely necessary. Pornography is moving further and further away from reality. However, it is recognized in our societies that pornography is a tool for sexual education for future generations. School and parental neglect only compound the problem. Children and adolescents then no longer have the necessary hindsight to distinguish the real from the false and reject pornography outright.

Making this distinction is the first step towards liberation from this addiction. You need to take a step back every time you watch a scene, and don't take it at face value. Because the story, description or summary of a scene is not necessarily reality. We must not forget that this is cinema and that the choice of words is important to always sell more. For example, production studios sometimes hire minors to shoot a porn scene and don't hesitate to indicate on their website that the actress is over 18 years old. By the way, can you still differentiate between an act of consent and an act of rape? The difference between an act of self-exploration and an act of torture? Pornography is currently destroying all borders and taboos since everything is normally "consented". How can you guarantee that a shooting scene was not made with women kidnapped and exploited by mafia networks, or that the actresses are not minors. Or to ensure that the sexual act is fully consented to by all actors and that it is not rape.

How do the studios manage to sell us dreams? What are their methods?

Choice of actress according to age and experience, choice of actor, makeup, hairstyle, choice of outfits, environment, story and shot, filming location, setting, position of lights, use of medication and chemical, etc. There is a lot of work behind a scene to bring out the best. I highly recommend the reader to carry out a detailed investigation.

I am personally convinced that if the public were better informed about how this industry works, they would undoubtedly have fewer consumers to approve and finance pornography. Obviously, I don't pretend to know the perfect solution to solving a porn addiction. Please feel free to comment on what you think, I'll be happy to respond.

Thank you for reading this, and good luck to all of you in your daily struggle.

  2. Agreed, the porn industry is very powerful but we have the ability to rebalance that power through the choices we make. NoFap is a step in the right direction, and we need more people to be aware of the risks! PornHub has had several lawsuits against it due to non-consent, and porn is definitely not like real sex.
