Hey, I wasn't quite sure where to put this so please let me know if I should move this to another thread. So since I've been 11 or 12 (I'm 18 now) I have been masturbating, I mostly chatted with other guys and traded pics (I'm Gay or at least I think so) and occasionally watched porn. I jack off every night before going to sleep and if I have nothing else to do also several times in the day. I have been ignoring how this is negatively affecting my life for the longest time now and want to put a halt to it. I am struggling with other addictions too, first of all, food which I have been using to comfort me since I am very little (wich is why I am 230 lbs now). My triggers for (binge) eating are very similar to the ones for masturbation (loneliness, boredom, searching that "Quick fix") Next, to this I am also struggling with my Cannabis consumption, I don't smoke extremely much mostly on weekends and holidays, but I fear that if I dont pay attention I could get a psychological addiction. So my Goals are to Stop fapping and become healthier(no emotional or boredom eating and working out) Whilst avoiding getting hooked on Cannabis. So my question is, which is the best way to stop masturbating for good whilst getting also healthyer physically. I am scared that if I only concentrate on Nofap that I will use food whenever I feel the urge to jack off. Is it even Possible to break two so old habits (which probably at the moment make up for about 70% off my life :/) at the same time? Or is it better to first concentrate on one habit with the risk of worsening the otherone? Has anyone ever dealt with something similar? Any advice would help me a lot! Thank you all!
