How to resist the Chaser effect?

My normal pattern (which firstly is a massive improvement over where I once was - for over a decade) is to abstain from PMO for ~14 days then slip up (typically M to softcore) and reset. After this initial blunder, I normally abstain for a few days, and either full relapse, but lately (slight improvement), continue abstaining for a few days then another reset, and do this two or three times before getting back on a ~7+ day abstinence.

Has anyone made it through a similar stage? I'm still hopeful that I can kick this vice-ridden habit, and I've picked up many good habits in its place to combat it, but for now, I would like to be able to, when I reset, recover a healthy period of abstinence without floundering pretty badly for the next couple of weeks.

For me, the key to overcoming urges is through creating a healthy life all in all. I believe if you find your why/what person you strive to become, then start adjusting your life to these goals, habits will click. For example, I want to be a healthier person overall. That's why I will stop watching porn, meditate daily, go to the gym 4 times a week. Once you get into the swing of it, and see the benefits, the habits reinforce themselves. When I get to the reset stage, I feel more motivated to get going again when I see the amazing progress I have made when it comes to not watching porn, but even in other life dimensions. Also, dealing with urges improved quite drastically when I started to "surf" them.

same thing was happening to me but in my case it was 12 days not 14, I figured out that the reason why I always relapsed after around 10 to 12 days is that I forget why I am doing this, I forget how bad the addiction is, I be saying to myself, ok porn is bad I'll relapse this time and start again, I have plenty of time, No I don't, if I keep saying this I will end up ruining my life and relapsing my whole life, now, after that I learned this, I usually make it to around 30~45 days then relapse, I did that for almost 4 consecutive times, my struggle now is how escape this cycle of making it to 30~45 days then relapse, today I am on day 42, I hope I can make it, I would suggest for you to make a longer goal and focus on it, like 30 days, and say to yourself that you have not to relapse whatever it takes, make a list of reasons of why you want to do it, but again, addiction isn't a problem that will get fixed in 30 days or 90 days, it's a lifetime challenge, so I would say make a list of 20 reasons why you should make it to 30 days, why is porn ruining your life, then if you make it there- hopefully- you should think about going forward.
