How to stop relapsing? Should i go for no porn only?

    I agree, but its very difficult to browse the internet without a porn blocker.
    So you don't use porn blockers?

    You're absolutely right. The internet is a terrible place to be when you're trying to reboot, and I urge you to spend as little time as you can on it.

    I don't use porn blockers. I feel there's alot of dissociating going on for many of us on this forum. I've seen people on here say stuff like "it's this hidden part in me that suddenly bursts out, and I can't control it". I've come to realize that it's not. It's not a separate shadow-self that chooses to watch porn. It's all me. Me setting up the blockers, me finding the workarounds.

    I choose to watch porn. And I can also choose not to.

    To me will power is a bit like memory. If you don't trust in it you start writing everything down instead of remembering, and your memory gets weaker. Trust in your will power. It will get stronger.

    No I don't because that would mean I haven't overcome the problem myself but I'm simply being prevented from doing it, you will never overcome this addiction without self control.

    I try to live as naturally as I can, adblocker helps me do that which is why I use it.

    Avoid having having urges altogether and the need to relapse will vanish

    What is an urge and what causes it?
    The urge is a mental and physical tension build up in a streak caused by an excess of sexual energy that is not balanced meaning in men an excess of male energy with a lack of female energy to balance it up so this creates a physical need to get rid of the excessive energy meaning excess semen, even too much of a good thing if it is not balanced can be troublesome. Women usually don’t have many urges because feminine energy is calmer and passive it’s not as violent as the male energy. Also male energy semen has a tendency to go out trough ejaculation for procreation and female energy has the tendency to remain in women’s body so they create children.

    The urge can be called in western terms
    Prostate congestion
    too much buildup semen in the prostate so the body feels a need to ejaculate to release tension this will create different symptoms like body tension, nervousness, anxiety, fatigue, mental fog, lack of focus, constant thoughts about sex, being easily triggered and other autonomic symptoms like vomiting and even feeling like you want to fade. This is your body and mind telling you they need this sexual energy to be balanced or simply lose it through ejaculation. You are being attacked by your own body and mind.

    The cure : As you can see urges are not an immediate and imminent symptom that comes from nowhere it’s the result of accumulated sexual tension is a chronic problem. So you can see the cure is not an immediate treatment you need to treat the main cause, you need to avoid coming to the point of being in such a sexual imbalance so the urge does not come out.

    PERMANENT WAYS TO HAVE NO URGES
    Awareness:
    Recognize the urge is starting to build up, you have to be aware of yourself everyday if you are starting to feel tense like little tiny urges then you know you are creating sexual tension.

    Relax: Once you realized urges are starting to build up you need to be relaxed. Ejaculation comes with tension, a relaxed man both in body and mind doesn’t ejaculate so this translates in no urges. Urges are build up tension, so start by building up relaxation. Simply focus on your breath, relax your face and have good posture, let your thoughts come and go. Be relaxed all the time it doesn't matter how hard life gets.

    How to be relaxed:The point is to be relaxed in anything you do simply focusing on your breath and relaxing your face is enough. You can try meditation focusing on your breath, yoga, exercise. But the point is to simply be relaxed without doing anything special, it becomes part of who you are.

    CONCLUSION
    -Understand what causes urges and what they are:
    build up sexual tension that the body and mind is trying to get rid of by making you feel sick so you ejaculate.
    -Awareness: realize sexual tension is starting to appear don’t wait until the urge is too strong to recognize it.
    -Relax: the cause is sexual tension you fight with relaxation be a relaxed person and you’ll never have urges no more.

    This is true, i experienced that bulking of sexual energy.
    I relapsed today, because i peeked at porn. Yesterday i was about to relapse because of a trigger on social media, i managed to hold on, but the thoughts kept going, i fantasized a lot in the past tow days.

    Well i will try again.

    It's better if you delete social media if you're going to do this, only keep youtube because you can actually learn things from there.

    Yep! I deleted it from my phone, but i still can access social media from my laptop, i keep the usage to minimum, i actualy don't talk to anyone, except rarly with family members.
    This is why i can't remove it completely.

    I feel bad and stupid, the loop keeps repeating itself again and again...

    Keep messenger on your phone to talk to family members, you can do that while never logging into facebook again, also if you got them on other social media tell them they can find you on messenger.

    When the urges are trying to take over, never mind your body, just smile at the idea of getting off knowing your body is like a small child you must patiently and lovefully discipline.

    Just acknowledge that you're a drug addict and a slave to PMO, and that there is NO shortcut besides avoiding triggers, dirty thoughts, peeks for 100%. Even if you allow something small like checking out your instagram acc of your crush, or writing here on this forum about your sexual problems, I guarantee you, 100% relapse sooner or later. It's just second-hand PMO

    A thechnique i discovered recently to overcome urges:

    "You must know that you are not the one being in control while relapsing, it's the hijacker, it's not you. The hijacker is trying to take control over your car... Nowing that:
    Close your eyes and imagine yourself talking to the hijacker, imaging him setting on a chair, wearing a mask. Start talking to him, tell him why you won't listen to his annoying voice telling you all the good reasons to watch porn. Tell your hijacker all the good reasons you have to not watch porn."


    This is the technique as i heard it from a professional in the field of neuroscience.
    I tried it for a couple of times, it worked. Partially because i'm depressed after my last relapse, so i tend to be on control, but as the time goes i loose that controle. So it would be worth trying that technique one week from now to see if it really works or not.

    According to that doctor, in order for that technique to work you have to be able to control your brain! That control requires brain training.
