    Hi!

If you are hooked up to the Internet through a router which is public or not entirely yours then the respective people will be able to read anything you are reading and posting here.

    For example:
    • at work
    • at school
    • in a café
Not to mention the ISP or certain organizations - let's assume for now they got more interesting things to care about.

It is not even that hard to do that technically.

This is why I would like to suggest switching to https:// for a future version of this web site.

    Kind Regards

The Let's Encrypt movement just recently came to being - certificates for free.

Also it seems that Google ranking is positively affected by offering https.

In my omnibox(?) it says http. Is the 's' important, is that what you are suggesting?

Thanks for reaching out with that suggestion. HTTPS has definitely been on the to-do list for a while. It isn't #1 on the to-do list, but will get to getting something together as soon as possible.

Indeed. S is for Secure HTTP and it is indeed a very good idea.

It should probably be mentioned though that https doesn't mean others can't see the domain name of the site as DNS lookups still can be logged. Also the site could still be in your browser history.

HTTPS on this site has nothing to do with payment processing via PayPal.
