Hear me out for a second. Imagine you're having a hard time with PIED and your habit of relapsing isn't helping at all. Imagine you admitted your continued issues on nofap only to be responded to by:

"Ha! you can't even get an erection alone yet alone with a girl!!! HAHA. You're not a real man lol. #noPMO'
    or
"what a loser you are. You sat at home wacking off to porn your whole life and now your dick is broke? what a f**king sad story you are.. #noPMO"
    or
"you literally can't go a few months without touching your dick? do you even want to heal yourself? you are weak as f**k! #noPMO"
    or
"haha, have fun boning your next date with a half-limp dick. Sure she'll say 'it's fine' or 'ooooh you're so big and hard!' pffft... #noPMO"

Note that these responses are intentionally harsh as a means of motivation to persevere in a reboot and not relapse. Hence the #noPMO tag at the end of the replies.
Would any of you find this humiliation helpful? A kind of 'look at yourself in the mirror' moment.

Perhaps a Inbox chain could be set up by those willing to be subjected to this? I know it could motivate me, avoiding being ridiculed like this...

Speaking personally, not a fan at all. I think it’s akin to throwing salt on the wound. There is a place for tough love in this process, but I think this crosses into being cruel. There’s also the consideration that many people will be going through flatline depression, and a small percentage is suicidal. This would not help that process.

Caveat - if a group of people wanted to voluntarily participate in this, then so be it, but it would really need to be an opt in group and communication would be important.

good points. The examples I used were harsh in the extreme.
These could be toned down of course.

I would also point this out - doing this in practice may be considered a violation of the forum rules, as it can be considered discouraging.

over PM with participant's consent and enthusiasm for it? The whole point is that people who wanted to do it would find it en-couraging.

It doesn't fit. At nofap you have guys who with their self images already crushed. Not only that, most have the typical doubts, "does it work"?

Imagine you have knee pain and you go to a trainer who claims that hard exercising will solve the problem. You seriously doubt that it will be effective, but you give it a try, as you are desperate to end the pain. While doing the exercise your trainer shouts "Work harder! What, do you want your knee to keep hurting, are you a weakling or just a masochist c*nt?"

You are going to think, wow, what a weirdo, and gtfo.
If you want to support people, recover, be an inspiration and share your tricks. You fucking loser :D

I'm a SO. I think it may work for some but recognizing that shame is a big reason why many addicts pmo it may have the reverse effect. As a woman I think what man would prefer to sit in a room alone with a tv screen jerking off to a screen when his woman is next door wanting sex? Maybe turn your webcam on so you can see how silly you look? And what man is okay with not being able too please his partner? Don't you worry she will cheat? I think this problem is that the addicted mind explains I away we the fault of another or as him being the victim so he can't see this.

The thing is I'd hate to be humiliated by someone over my relapsing and continued PIED, therefore I have a motive not to relapse! Humiliation will never occur if I stay true to no PMO.
Of course... who knows really when someone relapses? They could lie and say they hadn't... No correct answer here really. Although what I suggest in this thread is one of many avenues a rebooter could choose to go down.

I wouldn't go that extreme but a mild consequences list might be helpful. I have one.
