I’m 22 years old and this is a promise I’m making to myself

Hello to whoever’s reading, it’s very strange to open up about an addiction, I relapsed after 24 days of abstinence and the longest I could go was around 30 days, I’ve been addicted to pornography for many years and I’ve tried very hard to battle this addiction, whenever I relapse it feels like I’ve been defeated because it’s not an urge or a desire that causes the relapse, it’s a series of events leading up to it. I did binge after it and had to snap out of it, I’ve realised that the first two weeks of NoFap give you an incredible boost of confidence and remove brain fog but around the 20 day mark your emotions start to flatline and you start to feel nothing which got me wanting to feel something, I’m assuming that that’s the brains way of recovery, I’ve been an anxious kid for the most of my life and the anxiety and stress leads me to a relapse, I just want control over the things I can control, I do not want to be a slave of this,I’ve also realised that working out, prayer, meditation helps you keep your mind under control. This forum gives me hope that there are people trying everyday to become better, I WILL reach 90 days , I hope everyone stays strong.
