Well thanks, Dad! Just kidding, obviously, haha. You’re good bro, I totally understand all this. My only problem is making a decision out of those careers, and narrowing it down to one single one (“fleshing it out”). I spent my 20s trying to be a professional actor, musician and entertainer and let’s just say I’m not Leo or Chris Pratt at this point (or otherwise one who’s regularly supporting himself). I also know that trade schools are helpful if that’s the route one chooses to go down.

As far as NoFap goes though, I joined because I am a recovering porn addict like everyone else here, and P has made it difficult for me to really focus and live up to my fullest potential.

To SeekingPower's point, getting a 9-5 job will keep you busy. I've found one of the biggest threats to NoFap is boredom. Harder said than done, but getting into the trades isn't a bad idea. Those jobs pay well and desperately need more workers.

Sometimes the biggest enemy to finding your way in life is stagnation. It is always better to do something than nothing!

I work nights. My only problem is that the job is unfulfilling at the end of the day.

That's great! Having a steady job will make transitioning to a new, slightly better job much easier. A better paycheck, normal hours, or less stress at work can make a big difference in the quality of your life. Rooting for you :)

Thanks guys. To my credit, I might be a lonely dude but I do not for one second consider myself one of those whiny ass “incels” who are all about “waa waa I cant find anybody because I have body image issues waa waa”

Because not gonna lie, I’m a good looking dude who has had some luck here and there irl, it’s just that I’m in the process of getting my life together at the moment and it’s a question of motivation for me that I need to work on to get it embedded in my system.
