I am new to NoFap. Introducing myself.

Discussion in 'New to NoFap' started by Deleted Account, Sep 21, 2019.

  1. Hello my name is Allen. I just got aware of NoFap after a Joe Rogan episode on you tube. I am here to better myself. And get my life back. I am 30 years old already turning 31 next month on the 17th (October 17th). I am about 5 days sober. I had my friend lock my iPod in his safe. There is absolutely no way i can get ahold of porn. Right now i am using my mothers computer. Which i will not look at porn on. I have a lot of experience with this trying to quit thing i have over 17 years of looking at porn. I was introduced to porn at the really young age of 12 by an older male friend of mine. I went about three months without watching porn when i was really busy and working construction before i graduated from community college.

Tip. Change your diet. Get rid of all feminizing foods out of diet. (Soy, Grains, even whole grains, beans, legumes, potatoes, sweet potatoes...Noodles, Saimin...etc) watch the fruit at night. You don't want sugar floating around in your bloodstream at nighttime when you sleep. Eat fruits in the morning and afternoon. Do not eat them at night. I do this, have done this about 6 times before. I get very brave and start taking risks, i get pissed off and think i can kick everybody's ass on the city bus. Grains are not good. Read the Wheat Belly book. Magnesium (if phytates in grains dont bind to it and we poop it out) will suppress the hornyness we all get.

Tip. Look up phytate. They suck.

Tip. Get rid of what you watch porn on. Throw it out and get a small flip phone. Use the computer at the library. It gets you out of the house and doing shit instead of looking at porn. Seen a psychologist for this. He told me to do this. I knew what i had to do before i went to see him. He held me accountable for my problems.

Thank you all for the support. I am here to help. Love you guys and gals. Good luck wish me well. Any advice would be helpful. Im always learning.

  3. Heyyy welcome to the NoFap forum : ) It's nice to see you here fighting the good fight alongside us!

    Here is just some advice:

First and foremost please take a look at each section in the forum, there might be something(s) you may find of big help to you. Feel free to post there :+)

Then secondly I just strongly advise you to be active on your profile(as there quite a few active people in the profile section). Please start by choosing an avatar and then make daily status posts to show you're active and needing support/encouragement. They've also got a neat little feature that shows freshly posted statuses for all users to see. People will find your profile and give you encouragement/support.

People (are beginning to) love communicating in the profilesection..(it should be and is )mostly spportive talk but it doesn't hurt to deviate from supportive talk. It would be great to have you join in and support others in the threads, profiles, and journal. Make sure and be grateful for the help you received and help after receiving some. Invest in some people's journeys. We could always use your help and in return you shall receive some as well!

Thirdly, You should also highly consider creating a public journal and write about your days in more depth for us members to follow along your journey and offer support to you by way of posting in your journal.

Last but not least: Good luck on your journey here, make sure to really give it a try with all your heart!
