Hey everyone

I have been curious about nofap since I heard it from a youtuber talking about the benefits of semen retention and abstaining porn. It came to mind that since i started fapping my psychological health been in a downward spiral. I have also had a tough time at home wich i will not tell because it's a long story with many idiots. I used porn and fapping because it felt good and it was like an escape from reality. But i could never think that this addiction would cause so much more pain and even get me into depression several times. I have never talked about my depressions with anyone, because since my though time i never trust authorities and these so called experts. I took help from internet and I got out of depression every time.
But I never did anything about the porn and fapping addiction because i did not think it was dangerous. But now I realise it has dragged me into depression and being negative about life. I want to get out of this fucking mental prison.
I tried one week pmo free, but i relapsed one time. I had my goal to be pmo free for about 40 days, that was to my 18 year birthfay, i thought it would be a great thing to succed with. So now i am starting a 7 week no pmo. Then i will do a 14 day, 21 day and so on untill my birthday, it will be about 33 days. This will be a huge step for me and i have alot of willpower to quit this shit and start a new life.

Do you guys think i will be able to notice any changes the first week?
How long time will it take to reboot from my porn addiction?

Wish you all best of luck and succes with your goals!

It’s different for everyone, depends on how long the addiction lasted, also depends on how much we think/dwell on it.

Take as much time as you need - if you were getting depression from it then is advisable to never go back to watching it.

More and more days of no PMO does really help to give you more of a Focus day to day and focus on doing what’s right. I wish you all the best of luck in your journey :)

Thanks bro
Congrats on 1 month :)
Hopefully with willpower and focus I will also make 1 month.
Have a good day sir and good luck :)

Keep thinking positive and you might see changes. It depends on the person I suppose. Just don’t be discourage if you don’t see any. Although I haven’t done a week yet. Still looking forward for a change. I believe a reboot is a estimated to be 90 days.
