I deleted nearly 4TB of porn vidoes and images

I collected these porn videos for at least 20 years from various sources with different formats, from video clips converted from VHS to 1080 HD. They occupied nearly 4TB of hard disk space. Others than these videos, I have lots of porn images stored in Google Photos. My friends admire my collection much, and I am the "Lord of porn" in their eyes.

I always am proud of my collection, but recently, I realized I should stop this crazy time and resource-wasting habit. In addition, I read some books on "de-clutter", I found that if I lost these videos and images, I will feel extremely anxious and nervous. I should stop this curse, I want to make a change.

Last week, I purchased a "low-level format" software and deleted all of the hard disks which stored the porn videos. I also used random password generator to change the Google account password first, then I deleted the specific account. Afterwards, I deleted the file which I wrote the random password. I need to make sure I cannot retrieve the password again.

Today, all of my hard disks are empty and could not be recovered by any means. Google account could not be login again. Suddenly, I feel a huge boulder fell off from my heart. I am refreshed.

I shared this story with my friends, some of them blocked me instantly, some wanted to do what I did and asked me how to purchase the software. A friend of mine, who always told me not to watch porn again, bought some food to my house. He congratulated me and we have a very good conversation.

I do not know if I will collect porn videos and images again, so I asked my friends to help me. One of my friends installed a filter software and he kept the password ! He said he needs to make sure I will not closed it. Another friend asked me to install the "Covenant Eye" and keep track of my browsing history. I love to do it !

If you ask me if I regret to delete such a huge collection, I can say "no". Once you did it, you will feel free ! Also, you really need good friends to remind you and keep an eye on you.

I also want to say sorry to the one I shared my porn before......

Yes, I thanked them, but I also have some bad guys around me. I choose to ignore them.

I can say that once you delete all porn videos and images, you will feel great ! Maybe you feel that you have spent much money and time to collect those videos, but you cannot let those rubbish to pull your legs. Also, those videos like a reminder for you : “See ? You spend so much on us !” Just delete them all and they will shut up !

They blocked me because I stopped providing free videos for them, and I asked them to stop watching porn and delete them all. They think I am too annoying. However, I have some good friends who support me.

 

This is definitely the right choice ! You make a very good decision.
