If you are struggling with your sexual identity, not porn, you ought to speak with a therapist.

Relax. You're in the same spot as probably a million other guys. Nobody talks about it of course. Also you are still an addict if you're watching porn at all. Once or twice a week is an improvement. Imagine where you would progress if you watched porn everyday. It's still a massive problem though. Kill the porn use, don't masturbate for a few weeks, and watch your original sexuality come flowing back.

For me, 90 days wasn't enough. When I got to 150 days I felt I had recovered.

  11. @Ironman25 I am sorry to hear about your struggles.

Being attracted to someone sexually usually connects to a deeper psychological need of belonging and self-expression and freedom. A man is sexually attracted to a woman because the relationship with her will highlight his uniqueness of masculinity.

It can also happen that you sexualise something just because it is unusual or unknown to you, so your brain is tricked into thinking this is what you need. If a teenager starts PMOing with his phone at 12, it will be nearly impossible for him to have a sexial relationship with a real woman at 19 because for 7 years his brain was conditioned that sexual satisfaction comes from a 2D rectangular object in his pocket.

And in your case, you were probably curious about the novelty of trans-porn and your brain got attched to that. When you look into the mirror, you see a man - not a woman, and not a trans. So your brain pulls you towards the unknown, towards something that you are not. It's a natural human curiosity. And in your case it got mixed in with sexual attractions.

We do not like ALL and ANY type of porn, do we now? We only want SOME SPECIFIC types of porn.... Something that makes us tick. Why is that? ))

So begin by asking yourself: what exactly is the role of sexual intimacy in your life? What effects does it have on you to be intimate, vulnerable, sexually active and attracted? Why do you enjoy and seek it?

Every man will have a slightly different answer. But I noticed that identifying patterns in my addiction and thinking critically about why I am attracted to certain types of porn made me realise things about myself and helped me overcome.

there are people who grew up sniffing glue and smoking cocaine residue and now they are university degree holders even in areas like lawyer and medicine... sometimes, self-pity is a form of pride! you are giving far too much importance to your feelings but the fact is; you can change!. who can't? humans have free will!

I'm not sure whether this will help you, but I think your feeling can be changed thorough training like rebooting or conversation with therapists or counselors.

There are many ways to rethink about your sexual thoughts & to change them. So please do not give it up, & fight together!

  19. Being addicted to PMO is hard.

Staying free from PMO is hard.

    Choose your hard.

I will always choose being a man and staying away from it… but the problem lies in my pleasure and will power because whenever the urge comes I just can’t even say no to it even one time in my life..
