I created this account a while back. I wanted to kick this addiction. I lurked for a day, then forgot about it.

I haven’t kicked my addiction. It’s still here, and worse than before. I keep going through cycles of reboot. Sometimes, after PMO, I’m disgusted and horrified by what porn use and escalation has done of my sexual behaviour. Sometimes, I feel like porn has changed my identity, and not in a good way. And other days, I can make light of that horror, and relapse once again.

I don’t know what to do. I’m too ashamed to talk about this, even with a therapist. What’s the road to recovery guys? I can really use a hand here.

    Welcome to NoFap.

Good that you are accepting PMO as your addiction.
You should try to talk about your addiction on this forum as, many might have had a worser condition than what you do but are now better.

If you ask about the road to recovery, you have only one method (There is another one, the other being gradually moving away from p@#n, which doesn't work so do not try it.), i.e. by will power and learning about this addiction (it's working ---> it's harms).

Learning about this addiction is necessary as it will help you avoid falling back to this rabbit hole.
If you are quitting an addiction and have gotten good days without it, falling back to it must not happen but it does, you will find many users (like me) that fall back to PMO once they reach a good number of days without PMO.

If you wish to learn more about quitting this addiction then you must try reading
    1) SPAM REMOVED (spam code #001) - REPORT TO MODERATION Method to quit p@#n. (I recommend this one as the 2nd one is very lengthy.)
    2) Rebooting as best remedy by Soaring Eagle.

Try reading em completely and multiple times if possible.

    I hope it helps.
    Stay Strong.

I will attach their PDF down.

Thank you Vader! I’ll look into those links you provided cause I need something to motivate me, even if it’s knowing what I’m moving away from. I’d actually like to have some kind of alarm going off in my mind before a relapse to let me picture what I’m about to do to myself ^^’

My story sounds similar to yours. Just made my first post moments ago. Been on here before, and now even in a worse place. This is a monster man. I guess just want to say, you aren't alone. Let's get to fighting.
