I’ve basically been masturbating since I was eight, I discovered porn in the stupidest way possible. I’m 14 now, turning 15 soon. I’ve had a problem, a pretty severe porn addiction for a while, but I’m now really fully coming to terms with it and I realize I need to address it and end it any way possible. This has been especially true over the summer months, when one has little to do. It’s also been very worrying to me for a long time what I was into porn-wise, because it’s extreme, but I won’t detail it, partly out of shame. All of this (The very often PMO) has basically been weighing me down with shame that I struggle to carry and can’t seem to escape, constantly on my mind, refusing me peace and normality. I’ve heard of NoFap for a while, I scoffed at it early on, but I’m coming to realize I really need something like this. I tried to this two days ago, but I’ve failed already. I’m hoping joining the forum can give me some more ‘accountability’.

In conclusion, I need help and I hope I’ve come to right place.

Welcome and happy to see that you have find this Forum at such a young age!
I wish all these advanced tools where available when I started watching pornography at the beginning of this new millennium (around 2002)
Back in the old days when I was 15 (in 2003), there was very little science, stories, testimonies or facts available that talked about the possibly decade long perils, traps, misery and conditioning that PMO could have on your life. Since most people in my surroundings, including my own dad, friends, and relatives thought PMO was good and healthy in moderation, I certainly believed so too, not realizing the almost 1 1/2 decade long struggle that was going to be ahead of me as a result.
