Well, as you can see I relapsed 3 days ago after a 278 day streak.

Here's how it went down. Earlier in the day of the relapse, I went to a lake to fish a little. As I was walking down to the shore I experienced a major trigger. Two people in the bushes getting it on.

Later when I got home I started watching soft porn on youtube, which eventually led to more seeking. I kept searching and searching. Mainly watching and hardly even M'ing at all. Through the whole ordeal I didn't O. I finally stopped when a family member walked in. At first I didn't want to believe what happened. I felt empty inside and still didn't believe I relapsed.

The contributions to this relapse are as follows: Not making time for prayer, not making time for the forum, and because of those two - engaging in a lot of self tempting behavior.

My question is - Am I still rebooted? Most people say that the beginning is tough, but I honestly feel very normal, almost like the relapse never happened. I do not crave PMO right now, and I am not fantasizing like I used to do when I first started NoFap.

    Am I still rebooted?

    Of course you are rebooted!!!

    OF COURSE!!!

We are all sexual beings, you will probably always, like me, have to watch your behavior. You made it 278 days!! You did it, don't beat yourself up, move on and learn...

    YOU ROCK!!

I would say you are definitely rebooted, however, I would be careful the next few weeks because I went 150 days a year ago and then after I relapsed once I started relapsing more and more until it was almost daily again. So basically just be very careful this first month and do whatever gave you success in the first place. Cheers.

Yeah. Well the relapse was definitely a wake up call to get more serious and stay that way. When you reboot, you aren't magically cured. It's still a struggle of discipline in this sex crazed society.

Squeaky, I like to say "you might be cured, but not immune". By the way, forget the relapsing/rebooting mindset. The 278 days are a genuine success in your life, and the " relapse" (regardless if valid or invalid) trigger is just another thing to add to your blacklist, like a computer virus.

Btw. sex in the bushes makes me think of monkeys or neanderthals. Or a cheap porn VHS.

I would say that the next few days will determine whether you relapse or not so be careful it will be easy for you to continue in your rebooting road so just get back to it, its happens to me once, after i completed 136 days i relapse and i continue doing PMO for a long period of time
