When I failed my first attempt at a reboot, I went through the stages of: regret, anger, acceptance, and then resolve to try again.

The only way to stand up is to do exactly that, stand up. You got to more than 80 days without relapsing, which is something that many people struggle with. So appreciate that you achieved that, and congratulate yourself for it!

In addition to NoFap, make sure you have other goals you want to achieve. This will keep you occupied in other areas of your life, and make it more difficult to relapse in the future.

Relapsing is nothing new for me, especially during my first year of Nofap. But with each streak, I would compare myself to how many times I'd PMO in the same period the year before. And seeing this progress and improvement is what make me realize that this Nofap journey is worth it. For you, think about how many times you've PMOed in the same 80+ days last year. I would be impressed if I were you and use this as motivation for a new streak. As long as we can slowly improve, no matter how small it is, it's worth it. Just start a new streak and any improvements you've made will carry into the future.

  4. Take it as a lifestyle, perfection is not the goal. If you relapse once per couple of months then you are not addicted. Just keep going with the good habits

Congratz on your 80+ streak :)

  6. What an achievement! Don't stress to much. It's just a road bump you haven't lost all the good progress. Surf the urges and a couple days from now you'll be back on track.

Every relapse is a chance for us to learn what not to do next time, or something we'll use as an excuse to binge on P and M again. You choose what to do with it.

Something I've learned from multiple relapses after long streaks is to accept that you actually relapsed. I have a habit of just denying it, not wanting to believe it happened, which enables me to let it happen again and again. Once I realize that I'm in denial, I can start fighting again.

The path to success and freedom is similar to what you were already doing when you were successful and free. Just keep doing what you were doing before that was working, and if necessary make things even more strict this time on yourself. Discipline sucks at first, and it's hard, but over time it's what enables us to be free.

  8. if you relapsed after a 14 days streak your benefits may be gone but you're fine at +80 days, no benefits lost.

Dude I’ve never even come close to that. That’s awesome.

I can’t speak to PMO success as you have gone much farther than me but just remember that the only difference between successful people and failures is that successful people fail and then get up and keep going. Failures fail and then give up.

you are doing great. Keep going.

Congrats on your time! Don't give up. Just start over. You have the rest of your life to deal with this issue.
My last streak ended close to 80 days. I was devastated at first but in reality i didn't need to be. I did start over, not immediately, but i did. I am that point again and i've been given a second chance. I tell myself i will get through the full 90. After that who knows. Urges are diabolical for me around this time but it feels good in a strange way. The main thing i feel i've gained from my experience is a natural aversion to P. Though i crave it, i cannot allow myself to look as it will lead me back to the darkness and that's what made my fall so much worse. I can live with M if i end up giving in eventually, but i can't undo the damage that P will do, that will last long after i reset my counter. Stay in the game. You can't lose.

It's comforting to know your progress thusfar isn't lost. Just a bump in a road you've come a long way on.

Hey, we’re all addicts. That’s why we’re here.

I’m the guy with 25 years of failure, so who needs my advice?

Yet I’m also the guy who’s going to tell you don’t worry. Life goes on. You’re going to be okay if you keep working on this. That’s what I’m telling myself, in spite of all my past failures. What’s the alternative?
