I can relate on several levels, man. I got sober from alcohol 4 years ago and it was ugly. I kept getting a week clean then relapsing, a few weeks, then I’d drink again. I’d start beating myself over it, and go back to drinking all day every again. I was ashamed and didn’t want people to know how I kept failing. Then I had a moment of clarity. I decided I wasn’t going to quit trying, no matter if I failed again or not. I wasn’t trying to impress people and I wasn’t after a goal of so many days in a row. I was going to do whatever it took to live better, no matter how long it took or how many times I had to start over. That was 4 years ago in March, and yeah it was hard, but it was so worth it. Just take it one day at a time. Don’t think “I’m never going to watch porn again. I’m just not going to watch it today”. You can do this man, just make it through tonight.

I decided to quit PM in the beginning of 2020. And since then relapsed almost on a weekly basis. But never questioned my decision to quit. When you see that it doesn't work how you do it, you gotta change something. Some people use p-blockers on their electronic devices. Many started to workout. Maybe an accountability partner could help. Or writing a journal could help. You already faced your problem and decided to do something about it. Many men aren't even able to do the same. Now you can do the next step.

  9. Set your sights on other things and work towards those. Over time porn will drop away.
