    I just need to quit.

For too long have I been watching this stuff and honestly I don't feel like this stuff has benefited my life in any way shape or form.

I started with the vanilla stuff but now it has gotten to watching deranged stuff. Unfortunately I can't even get hard to a real woman.

I just want to leave the porn and masturbation.

It's been my second day going like this and I feel okay but I have just a few questions.

Firstly how long will it take me for my deranged interests to disappear so I find the vanilla stuff good. But it's not like I even want to go back to porn.

Secondly how long will it be before I can completely rid myself of this habit?

And thirdly are their mental and physical health benefits of this?

Hey @DilapidatedBell, nice to see you join this journey and taking your first steps to reach your goals!
I think a lot of people can relate to the change of preferences, but dont worry this usually stems from your body craving "higher" doses of the hormones that are produced duringPMO and make it so addiciting! Over time when your brain changes it is really probable, that you will without a problem get hard to real women!

Everybodys time span differs greatly, both with getting turned on by real women and getting rid of nofap. A lot of people say 60, a lot of people say 90 days, but dont take it as a set finish line, it is probably just the ball park! I personally think it puts a lot of pressure on you, so try to observe changes in yourself, regardless of the days :)

In the beginning dont focus on those huge daycounts. View every day as a single day and challenge, during which you can grow your discipline and confidence!
Especially in the first days, it helped a lot to inform myself about what is happening in the brain during porn (i read the book: your brain on porn, it summarizes so much about this PMO-Addiction), exercise (yoga, running, workouts, whatever you like), meditate (there are awesome free guided awareness meditations on youtube and spotify).
Oh and of course spending as littel time as possible alone inside your house, just to be in an enviroment, where PMO is out of the question :)

In the end its about creating new habits and a new lifestyle, where you get joy from differnet things than artificial arousing imagery!
If yoo need help or have questions you can always message me :)

I am rooting for you! A lot about staying on track during the first days if about distraction and getting your "feelgood"-hormones" from different sources than porn!
So maybe you can go for a run or read in order to have an accomplishing feeling :)
