Hello, I fell into temptation after the first week, I am desperate now and I don't know what to do. This days I have been needing to masturbate twice a day, for a long time, it takes so much time out of my life and I have a lot of things to do because Im a university student! So I am so frustrated, I want to stop but my brain is just asking me for more and more. I dont. know. what. to. do. anymore. Help.
 
Hey man, here is what I found to work for me. Write down the things that triggers you to pmo. Is it stress, boredom, being alone, depression, being on the internet for too long? Whatever it is. Be aware of it and take practical measures to avoid the situation. Add a blocker to you devices and let another person put the passwords in for you. Also read a lot about the dangers of porn and the process of rebooting. Workout, eat healthy and do.cold showers daily. I know this has become common advice but these activities help to calm your emotions and make the process easier. Don't stop. Keep pushing. When you say no each time, you grow in strength while the addiction becomes powerless. Keep going bros, all the best to you

If you haven’t done so I think it’s a great idea to also reach out to the women on this forum in the “Women in Reboot” section. There are several women here that can more closely identify with what you’re going through and help out.

Try to remember how awful you feel after doing it and how you keep promising yourself you will stop. That day to stop has to come and it should be today. It's a trick your mind is playing on you to get the rush it so much craves but deep down we know it's all a lie. It only makes us waste our time and it never truly satisfies it's a sick game where we never get to win. Best to stop it now even if it hurts at first but we will not regret it once we are free :)
