I need TIPS for BRAIN FOG

    Toeay I have completed 5 months of Nofap...BUT... I have got no benefits At all.... Having INSANE brain fog.... Everything feel like unreal And like movie..... I cant concentrate .. having Alot of. memory issues....Anything that happend yester day... I cant remember Without tyring hard to recall... Thing happened 1 hour ago feels like It happend days ago....

    ALSO having Very much self conciousness While talking to anyone or in any social situation.. cant even Talk without face tingling and freezing...

    I need Some TIPS that really works to Overcome these things

    Please suggest some tips Seperatly ...for BRAIN FOG & SELF CONCIOUSNESS..

    It is unusual that after five month of nofap you’re not seeing any benefits. This could be attested to something else going on. Maybe diet or lack of exercise, proper hydration.
    The memory loss part sounds serious and honestly you may want to consult your doctor to make sure there isn’t something serious underlying there. Stay strong on nofap brother and best of luck to you.

    I wonder if what you are experiencing is dissociation. Which is a symptom of anxiety.

    Basically, often i feel like everything seems and looks unreal. And it's kind of a numb feeling. And often i forget what I have done in the day.

    I may be wrong, because i am no expert.

    But I know for sure that in my case, this foggy unreal experience is simply a side effect of anxiety/ social anxiety. It's nothing to worry about, it's just my brains way of perhaps protecting me or saying it's overloaded

    This Brainfog problem Happened only this year after My relapse... And Extreme binge.. like fapping 4-5 time daily since last year ..It not like complete memory loss.. , I remember all things If I focus... But Events feels like happened way befire that it actually happened... This thing occured only after last relapse... . which is still not resolved even after 5 months..

    How is your job/school going? is there anything you are stressed/anxious about? I used to have the same feeling.. to me it feels like I'm wearing cardboard on my head.. I lose my focus on things around me.. (one day I almost had an accident)
    to me, it was all because of anxiety and stress at work (because of lack of confidence another stuff).. but once I got over the anxiety things got better for me

    TBH... I am only doing Nofap... and nothing else .. I started Wim hof breathing( without cold showers, only breath) since yesterday.. Only one set.... And thinking of joing gym...

    I dont earn... this is also one of my stress... BUT due to my social nervousness .. I feel I cant do it untill its cured.... If I cant talk to anyone , How ca n I start my business, And I also feel low self esteem... I was waiting to get improvement in Social anxiety through nofap and then initiate anything further..... i get excessive self concious while talking to anyone..cant smile or laugh when someone is with me..:(

    nofap has a good impact on reducing social anxiety by improving the confidence and self-esteem (but whenever I relapse I lose some of my confidence and I get back the anxiety)
    I think nofap is not enough to get over social anxiety, here is what worked for me,
    1. Have a close friend that you can trust and tell him/her about your problem (usually people sharing same problems can be more open with each other without being affriad of judgment -- I have a friend who also went through social anxiety and I feel open talking to him)
    2. If that is possible, try to have a few sessions with a therapist. (it very helpful to tell someone who is specialized)
    3. even if the above two options are not available, I HIGHLY recommend reading those two books: "How to be your self" by Ellen Hendriksen and "A new earth" by Eckhart Tolle those IMP are a MUST for anyone suffering of social anexity

    (again I'm not an expert, and still have social anxiety but the above solutions really helped me a lot of course nofap is very very helpful here as well)

  14. Hi! Don't worry, you are on your way on rebooting. ( Working methods for brain fog for me was drinking 0.6 litres of water before sleep - it will help your brain to detoxify in the night; and having window opened a little bit to have circulation and fresh air in the night).
    Firstly congrats to you that you reached so far. For me it looks like your are suffering Post Acute Withdrawal Symptoms.
    Brain fog and feeling like unreal and in movie is a symptom of depersonalization/dissociation.
    In short: rebooting is causing stress to brain because its lacking dopamine, so this stress is to force you to back to old
    ways of instinctual based copulation-like patterns of PMO. Moreover, building up tension from seminal energy is fueling up these symptoms. Stress is main factor causeing your probably bad sleep, memory and cognitive distortions leading to more stress, weak body, low energy etc. I got it like you, I was thinking like I developed PTSD because of rebooting, but its a way out of it. What activities do you use to cope with reboot ?
    For healthy reboot it is NECESSARY to ingrain new activities and USE and CHANNEL this seminal energy. What helped me and was most accessible at first? Journaling, writing my every thoughts without censorship. Writing how I was angry and frustrated about how I'm unhappy, without sex etc; it was an instant lowering of pressure in my head. And WIM HOF methos as well. Going sleep at established hours, turning of screens 2 hours before sleeptime to avoid screwing secretion of melatonin to brain (melatonin is necessary of deep sleep and brain detoxication during night). Meditation. Pushups until exhaustion. Tire your body !
    If you feel scared about your health, do a check up. Maybe you have some previous health issues mixed with reboot symptoms.

    It's only temporary, you brain is rebooting and rewiring. Its part of the process, even i you are feeling like helpless, you are in this state of health temporary. No one can tell you how long it will last, but it's not permanent.

    As gents have already said. Get a check up if you can and find a way to deal with this extra energy which manifests as all that tension. I just can't stress the importance of physical exercise while rebooting. Win Hot method is also fantastic idea.

    You will be fine.
    The night is the darkest just before the sunrise.

  17. I took 4 years to complete reboot, but it was mainly due to too much stress and not enough knowledge about process and PAWS. I neglected physical exercises and channeling energy so I ended up in constant loop of stress.
    With my knowledge after reboot, now I would be done in probably 2 year at longest (from Day 1 to complete reboot).

    Listen to him, physical exercise, even as simple as pushup, squatting or even walking is of highest importance on reboot process.

    What kind of activities are you doing to heal and replace addiction ?

    since last week I started Wim hof breathing + cold shower....But I am thinking to join gym and do some weight lifting there
