I relapsed, but I know what to do.

Today I relapsed. I wasn't proud of myself. I can say that I tried to resist the urge, but that wasn't mostly true. The days leading up to this relapse, I found myself becoming overwhelmed with the idea and thoughts of giving in; my brain just telling me to stop fighting and just do it.
I know that most of you here would have experienced this before. But the problem with the days leading up to it; the reason why I started to get those urges was because I was entertaining the idea of them.
I felt so strong for a while, yet as soon as I started to think about it and encourage the idea, I started to think about it more, and the more I did l, the more the urge consumed me.
I tried to resist, but I had already done too much damage.
However I now know what to do.
Every time that I get an urge to give in, all I need to do is say no, and move on.
I know some of you may think that it is impossible, but if it just think of this decision as a simple choice; just a yes or a no, it becomes a lot easier.
Using this mindset, you give yourself a lot more power as you now realise that all you need to say is no, and move on.
It is best to distract yourself from these thoughts of course, but by using this mindset, you can all accomplish and beat this disease.
Push on everyone and good luck to you al!

That's good bro, just survive the first couple weeks
Afterwards it'll get easy, you'll be deep in the flatline and you'll feel dickless (all sexual/porn urges will fade)
Just don't test your dick with porn and cause a relapse. It's perfectly normal to experience the Dickless phase in the flatline
    Goodluck bro

I remember one therapist saying fighting with urges is like fighting with muhammad ali; you will lose it no matter how hard you fight but if you simply refuse to fight and leave the ring, you can win. So whenever urges strike dont fight them, simply distract yourself as much as you can. Stay away from internet if you can for some time and wait till the urges have passed.

That is actually a really good way to think of it. I will try that method next time an urge hits me. Thank you.
