I sometimes abstain, this is why

    I only abstain because I know it will make me hornier and hornier after a few days. And then when I do look at porn or have sex it will be more fun and more interesting.

    What are your opinions of this?

    I usually don't have a choice when I am "on the rollercoaster". Sometimes I can get a few days but if I'm in the cage with the 400 pound gorilla I am gonna be doing things his way! Not my way.

    I believe in the personal powerlessness concept... That I am powerless over PMO. So if I use it I am not gonna be able to control my usage. It is the uncontrollable. And my life will become unmanageable.

    So I don't think that "just doing it on the weekend" or "only after 5PM" or "only twice a week" would ever work for me because if I do it once, "I take a drink, the drink takes a drink, and the drink takes me"

    I don't know if it applies to everyone but I found it to be "fitting" for me. Not just with PMO but with other substances too. That first hit or sip gets me goin, goin, gone. If I think "well it will just be this one" then I have to look at step one again. After that one, there will be another. And another. I will lose control because it alters my brain chemistry.
