Is it crazy? It is, but I'm doing it regardless. I'm aware this isn't for everyone, and perhaps no one reading this will want to try it themselves, and I have no problem with that. But I'm thinking at least you'll be interested just as something interesting.
In the past I considered the more known chemical castration, which is taking a drug to severely lower testosterone (several options out there), but I decided against it due to the severe side effects low testosterone has.
More recently though I learned about aromatase inhibitors. They actually increase testosterone because it hinders the body ability to convert it to estrogen (estrogen comes from testosterone), and as a result more testosterone is left in your body. And for some reason, which is unknown, it tends to greatly decrease male libido. The effect on testosterone levels are not that big, far lower than drugs taken for TRT, but it does increase it a bit and for me that is a bonus. I don't have low testosterone but I'm just a tad lower than the upper range of considered healthy, and I've been working about quite a bit lately and that will help to get some quicker results.
I have done my research, read several papers on it. I won't share these details, do your own research if you are interested, and if you come across paywalled articles, just use sci-hub.se
On Wednesday I had blood drawn to measure
My objective is to get my estrogen as low as possible within the range considered acceptable.
To that I'll be taking Anastrozole. Typically this is used to treat breast cancer or prevent it in high risk populations. So it's common that people take this for years. The typical dosage is 1mg per day. I'm taking 0.5mg per day only for the first week and then I plan to make it every other day for an additional week and later on 0.25mg every other day, but this plan might change depending on later lab results. If it doesn't work out to decrease my libido or I have more than very minor side effects, that's fine, I'll just stop it. Also my intentions initially is do this for around a year or so only and then slowly come out of it, I think having a decreased libido for that period of time will be enough for a change in mindset and self control. And why I'm doing this? Well, I've just grown tired of women even to seek sex. I far from being an incel, I'm 33, and already have been married, and had my share of sex experiences. And to satisfy my high libido lately I just masturbate, which I have no pride on saying it's done in an excessive manner.
Wish me luck and me let know if you guys would like to hear updates on the experiment I'll be running on myself...

On Wednesday I had blood drawn to measure
- Total Testosterone
- Estrogen (E2)
- Lipid panel (Total Cholesterol, LDL, HDL and Triglycerides). One of the possible side effects is a slight elevation of cholesterol, but I'm well within healthy range, but I'll keep monitoring this too
