Today I find myself being grateful in some way for porn addiction as for me an my relationship porn addiction may have saved us.
Quick backstory...... I came here in early May after months of trying to figure out my dead bedroom. I found NoFap and so many things began to make sense. I am an SO who suspected my bf was a porn addict.

I pushed, we fought, he lied many times over. I had no proof. Only assumptions. On a whim I kind of faked some proof ( I know not good) however it opened a door for honesty.

I still couldn’t tell you if PMO is 100% the issue but I firmly believe it played a part but.....

Finally pushed for testosterone test since he was adamant PMO wasn’t the issue.

    total testosterone 146
Free T 1.3 or 13 depending on your conversion.

I know it’s not the case for all but we have now learned that despite the sex drive he felt in his mind his body wouldn’t comply. Porn became easier.

After just 10 days he reached climax for the first time in 2 years!

Maybe it’s because he stopped PMO because with replacement therapy he can’t hide but maybe the perceived addiction had more to with not understanding why he lacked desire, had ED, etc.

If I hadn’t of found NoFap I think we would be broken up by now so I’m thankful. Thankful to all of you who share your stories, your struggles, offer support, and work at this everyday. You all matter, you all made a difference in my life.

Thanks for sharing, and that's awesome about the progress!!

And on a side note, TOTALLY not to downplay the progress here, but if it was me, I'd be happy for NoFap, not for the addiction.

Your caption is wrong, porn addiction would have ruined everything, NoFap saved you.

You know you are right. Update is my relationship is officially over and has been since before Christmas.

    NoFap saved my life.

NoFap saved me from continuing to blame myself, and saved me from staying with a man who did not love me.

Did you blame yourself thinking you were not attractive enough for him to be turned on?

I'm so sorry to hear that things didn't work out, but it sounds like it may be the best thing for the relationship to be over. Also, I'm VERY happy to hear that you're not blaming yourself and that you're no longer with someone who doesn't love you.

    Was the parting mutual?
