I ve really being messed up by porn and I've decided to join in the 90days challage, don't know how to go about it.... would really appreciate any support I can get.
I guess today is my day zero

  2. Try to abstain from everything that can cause urges to arise, such as social media, tv, movies etc. Watch a documentry. Try to keep yourself busy with work, school and gym. Take cold showers! If you can't start with could, then start with warm water and end the shower with cold water. Read a book and keep your phone away before you sleep. Don't objectify woman and don't sexual fantasize. It may be hard in the beginnen and depending on how much and how long you have PMO'd it may take longer than 90 days to fully reboot and recover. But it's never too late to begin and every second you PMO, is a waste. Good luck, don't give up! You can do this!!

  3. Heyyy welcome to the NoFap forum : ) It's nice to see you here fighting the good fight alongside us!

    Here is just some advice:

First and foremost please take a look at each section in the forum, there might be something(s) you may find of big help to you. Feel free to post there :+)

Then secondly I just strongly advise you to be active on your profile(as there quite a few active people in the profile section). Please start by choosing an avatar and then make daily status posts to show you're active and needing support/encouragement. They've also got a neat little feature that shows freshly posted statuses for all users to see. People will find your profile and give you encouragement/support.

People (are beginning to) love communicating in the profilesection..(it should be and is )mostly spportive talk but it doesn't hurt to deviate from supportive talk. It would be great to have you join in and support others in the threads, profiles, and journal. Make sure and be grateful for the help you received and help after receiving some. Invest in some people's journeys. We could always use your help and in return you shall receive some as well!

Thirdly, You should also highly consider creating a public journal and write about your days in more depth for us members to follow along your journey and offer support to you by way of posting in your journal.

Last but not least: Good luck on your journey here, make sure to really give it a try with all your heart!

Day 1: was successful with my pledge, although I was triggered couple of times but I diverted my attention
By playing games....I must confess it's not easy but I can see my self walking in my freedom... Thanks to everyone who supports me.

We've all been messed by it. I noticed what helped me the most was figuring out when/in what circumstances I get the urges, and devising a plan on how I will act in each of those situations, for example mornings get out of the bed immediately and getting ready. Evenings turn off electronics 30 min before sleep and take cold showers. Trough out the day minimize the time spent in my room and go to public places.
Being able to anticipate them can go a long way.

I think my 90days challenge seems unattainable....I'm taking a 21day challenge instead and tomorrow will be my day zero...

Hi Refined, why give up and change your goals already? Many of us will stumble along the road, will relapse, etc. Only to pick ourselves up again and to try harder the next time. If this was easy, there wouldn't have been a need for a forum such as this ;-) Don't be to discouraged if you stumble, but work towards your goal step by step and day by day. Following some of the advise in earlier posts by others may help you do so.

    Hi there! Did you relapse?

I just wanted to say that when I started it was horrible, challenging and unbearable. Some nights I couldt fall asleep because of the urges and my mind telling me I needed to.

But that phase took me 2 weeks to get past and after that my new nofap life is just an amazing experience! 21 days won’t change your habits that much.
So I just hope you change your mind and find motivation to do 60/90 days?

    Good luck!
