    Hi there,

23 y/o male here. I've known about NoFap for a little while but this is the first time I've been to the website. I'm just now starting and I know there's a long road ahead but I'm determined to make it through.

I've avoided masturbation and porn for a week or two at a time in the past and noticed a substantial difference in the quality of life experienced. Each time I've gone this far I always relapse. I feel like an animal when I find myself unable to resist these urges. I want to develop the discipline and self-control necessary to refrain from this self destructive behavior.

I'm hoping this website will help by keeping me motivated to keep going and that I can learn from others on ways to resist during moments of weakness. Not sure yet how best to navigate NoFap. I would greatly appreciate any help/advice on how to use this site to its full potential in my journey to be better.

    Hello!

I'm so glad you've decided to go on this journey, and be a part of the community that looks to change people's lives. I know that I've felt quite animalistic when I've gone through binges of PMO, and I too am working to gather the human part of me again. I've found that noticing how I feel, and not trying to push it away has really helped me feel human and avoid the PMO'ing. But I'm sure there are other people out there with more advice for you. Good luck champ!

We are on the same road and you are in the right place. My best period of success with no PMO was though support from people I met in this group and formed an accountability group with. My best wishes bro
