    Hello everyone.
For quite a long period of time I am seeing some problems in my daily habits and I've been trying to change them, so I decided to write some kind of a journal, to help my stay motivated.
I have two major problems. Smoking weed and fapping. Somehow, they are connected. I like to smoke a few joints, lay down, watch a porn movie or two, and fap at least 3 times.
A little background; I am smoking for about 10 years now, no girlfriend for 5 years, 27 years old. I had a great job, earning above average, I was lifting weights, so weed addiction didn't seem so bad. Than about a year ago, I lost the job. I kept on smoking and once all the money was spent, also problems hit me in the face. I recently lost my drivers licence becouse I was positive on THC, so I am. also dealing with a very expensive ticket.
I last year I destroyed my life into pieces, becouse I just smoke and fap all day.
Weed puts me in some kind of comfort zone, some kind of bubble, I don't have other needs than fapping. Even when I don't feel the urge, I fap.
Now I got a new job, not really good, wage is way lower than I used to have, but it is a start. I am as low as I can be, sonthere is now way but up I guess.
About and hour ago I smoked the last joint, I fapped 3 hours ago and that has to be the last time.
I have to occupy myself with activities, so I will start to train again, and hopefuly stick to my word. I really need to

Alcohol and drugs (as in your case) are usually symptoms of the problem. I hit rock bottom just like you. I got 2 DUIs in an 18 month period, got kicked out of school, and had to rebuild.

If you can stop smoking pot, you can then focus on not fapping. Pot appears to be a big trigger for you, so start there.

I just want to say I’m 500 days sober from alcohol, pot, and other stuff. I am only 4 days off fapping, but even with the pain of my porn problem, my life is 10x better off drugs. Start reading, meditation is huge, run, go to an AA or NA meeting and they’ll accept you even if you wanna just sit and listen. It was also give you tools to fight fapping.

Nothing is better than getting control of your life. Find someone to confide in and keep you accountable. Go kick ass for your future self.

Going home from a night shift.
I just wanted to write a few words, so I keep my mind of weed. I could use a cold shower. Cold shower is something I wamt to do daily, I've done it a couple of times, it does wonders.

  5. Heyyy welcome to the NoFap forum : ) It's nice to see you here fighting the good fight alongside us!

    Here is just some advice:

First and foremost please take a look at each section in the forum, there might be something(s) you may find of big help to you. Feel free to post there :+)

Then secondly I just strongly advise you to be active on your profile(as there quite a few active people in the profile section). Please start by choosing an avatar and then make daily status posts to show you're active and needing support/encouragement. They've also got a neat little feature that shows freshly posted statuses for all users to see. People will find your profile and give you encouragement/support.

People (are beginning to) love communicating in the profilesection..(it should be and is )mostly spportive talk but it doesn't hurt to deviate from supportive talk. It would be great to have you join in and support others in the threads, profiles, and journal. Make sure and be grateful for the help you received and help after receiving some. Invest in some people's journeys. We could always use your help and in return you shall receive some as well!

Thirdly, You should also highly consider creating a public journal and write about your days in more depth for us members to follow along your journey and offer support to you by way of posting in your journal.

Last but not least: Good luck on your journey here, make sure to really give it a try with all your heart!
