I want to lead my life!

    Hi there!
    I'm male, 27 years old, I have a job and I live alone in a flat.
    I feel that life running past me without me at wheel.
    I have a fair share of really good and quite some of bad attributes, and I have awful self esteem, and a crippling fear of being humiliated by others.
    I'm fighting with porn addiction for quiet a while now, it started at my early teenage years, and worked for me as a stress relief and a gave me the feeling that I'm worth something.
    I want to quit for few years now, with more or less luck. In the end I always relapsed and ended up where I started.
    I hope here I can find help and a structure to conquere myself!

    Many people here, if not everyone, use porn as a way to escape reality and well that's because reality is terrifying, fighting your fears will take everything you have but i'm pretty sure you can do it and see improvements in those areas, the important thing is to not give up and learn about yourself and your addiction.

    Step one is identifying the problem. Great work. We're all in this together so stay on track. Overtime you'll start feeling the benefits of your abstention. Be patient and strong!

    i have same problem with bad self esteem, and fear of being humiliated by others, but porn is main cause we feel like this.
    keep on going, we will get our lives back!!!
