If You Guys Watch A Video Today, Let It Be This...

Discussion in 'Rebooting - Porn Addiction Recovery' started by icandoallthings, May 20, 2017.

  1. I love watching these videos once in a while, thanks for posting. 41 days, wow! hope I can reach there one day.

  2. Habibi, I still remember my single digits like it was yesterday! :emoji_relieved: I had been PMOing for 15 years, sometimes multiple times a day, and I couldn't even remember the last time I went for more than a week in my entire life.
I just kept coming back here day in, day out, just kept participating. 3 days became 7. 7 became 12. 12 became 21. Then 3 weeks in, I found an amazing AP. We just kept talking and before you know it my AP was nearly at 20. Both of us, for the first time in forever were at our longest streaks. And although my AP relapsed, he kept pushing me. I used to keep a track of the days till around 25. Now you've brought it to my attention again. I still can't believe I'm at 40+ This is my first attempt at NoFap and I'm seeing wonderful changes.
I'm talking to people(not as well as I like but its a start), I got a freaking job(and if you knew me during my PMO days you'll know that's something big) I battled a lot of addictions and I've nearly kicked all my old habits.
I just want to say that you can see all the motivational videos or pictures you want, it's not going to do you much good if you don't have mental discipline. It all starts with your head. Mental discipline is saying no when your body screams yes. Moving your eyes away although your brain is drawing up all sorts of conclusions. Having control over your hands when all you want is to feel those few seconds of ecstasy even when you know that you're going to be in pain after.
You want to succeed? Mental Discipline.

  4. Accountability Partner. Find someone who has the same outlook as you.
I see that you are a Muslim. Why don't you look in the Muslim Fapstronaut group. I think they have a Accountability Group there. Why don't you join them and ask around on their forums?

  5. Ah, right. I don't think I need an AP, when the urges tend to hit me I start reciting durood sharif and they go away. Plus, I've also found a really helpful friend in these forums he tends to help me out a lot and we are pretty much on the same boat. So, I think I'm good.. I don't want to get too dependant on other people, thanks anyways.

  6. Great video. He's right about everything. The human experience is being eroded and replaced and overhauled by the technological experience.
