Impressive. I started at 13. Good of you to nip it in the bud quick.

    Ive been
masturbating every day since i was 6. But i think its already really good then instead of starting in stopping the addiction

I want to become a professional tennis player so i will have to cut it out anyways

  4. Wow, I'm also 16 and started when I was 13. But I do agree with you. I once heard an analogy: Watching Porn is like watching people eat while you're starving. The pleasure gained is completely fake and it's unhealthy to be addicted to something fake

  5. Yep It's a amazing pleasure, but it's fake and causes metal and physical damage. we're addicted to something that destroys us.

  6. Porn was created to prevent us from realizing our true potential

  8. That's awesome man. Porn is the main problem. As far as I know, masturbating once in a blue moon is fine. But anything done in excess is bad. I used to flick the bean up to five times a day, that's unhealthy.

Yea im talking none obsessively once in a while. Would it reset my counter or no? Not planning to masturbate until maybe my birthday july 26 or even more past

  10. I ain't an expert but if you're goal is to not watch porn it wouldn't reset your counter. I am trying not to fap until I lose my virginity, if I choked the chicken then my counter would reset. It's up to you if it resets your counter.

  11. Not really, as long as it's once in a blue moon. Unless you want masturbation to count or if you use multiple counters like I do. Counters that count masturbation. Also be careful if you edge, Heard it does a lot of damage.

How long do u mean by once in a blue moon?

  13. You started NoFap at 13? That's amazing! I started at 14, now I'm 16, still working on it (I've improved a lot though). To answer your question, no, masturbation doesn't cause knee pain (it's not that powerful, to be honest), unless you constantly slam your knees on the floor or do bad form squats while doing it. :p

In my opinion, try to keep masturbation as minimal as possible. Can't say for sure that one will never touch his junk again for the next five decades until he's six feet under, but trying to keep it minimal will do you well. Sometimes, sh*t happens, but if you don't do it so regularly, I know you will feel more energised and happy. Instead of wasting that excess energy on masturbation, why not you use it for more productive activities such as sports and working out?

You can approach NoFap from many different perspectives, everyone has different goals, preferences and philosophies. That's what my avatar is trying to express: There's colour on one side, black and white on the other side and the stripe has inverted colours (sort of), but the main image remains the same (gymnastics rings). Some keep the masturbation, some go celibate, some without the willpower will stay addicted. In my opinion, don't make regular plans, just live life (second paragraph), that should prevent you from getting the addiction again. ;)

well it's your life and your body, so none of us can tell you what you *have to* do with it ;-) And about the counter, it depends on the kind of counter you take. Will it say '... days since I M'd or edged' then of course you should reset it if you masturbate (wet dreams of course don't count). If it says '... days since I watched P or P subs' then M'ing doesn't mean resetting the counter since you didn't watch porn.

You can also take, for example, two counters like I have, and use the M one to be able to keep track of the M frequency and see if it's to your satisfaction (no pun intended ;-) ).

I do other things too like sports and working out alot

  18. Sorry my bad. It all depends on what you count as a relapse. Or if you add a counter that counts masturbation. Once in a blue moon means that its something you rarely do.
But it all depends on what you would see as a relapse.

I see relapse as a PMO or doing it obsessively or excessively so if i rarely do it like once every few months id prob not count it. Im not planning to do anything this month

I know what you mean by that, I been doing it a long time, and it feels weird not to do it.
