I'm 23 and have the testosterone levels of a 90 year old

Just got my testosterone levels checked through a blood test. My levels were extremely LOW. Like 90-year-old man low.

This was done through a blood test which is not a very reliable indicator but rather a snapshot of my T levels in that given time. So it's not a case for too much concern but still, it's quite unsettling, to say the least.

This definitely tempted me to relapse in the short term because I felt so horrible due to this news. But I didn't do it. Plus, PMO is probably one of the main reasons for this low testosterone in the first place so PMO only adds fuel to the fire.

I'm going to do my best to increase the habits that contribute to higher testosterone production so I can get back on track. There simply is no easy answer for me. I must be disciplined and create better habits. I'm only 23 so there's no way in hell that I'm going to go on some sort of Testosterone-Replacement-Therapy, fuck that.

But the annoying this is that I have an above average physique. I work out very consistently, do MMA, eat very healthy, and do breathing exercises daily so I thought I was already pretty good. (My other tests did, in fact, show good levels for everything else). Ughhhhh.

I was dealt a hard hit today but I'm going to take that pain and absorb its power.

Going to get my levels checked again soon and do some research on what I could do about this situation despite what I've been doing already.

A true man doesn't self-medicate when faced with pain but rather he embraces it, sits with it, and does something about it.

Stay strong. Still on day 6.

What is your level of testosteron? I made a blood test when I was 28 and had 3.44 ng/ml. Doctor said that is a bit low, but not too bad. No need to change something. But i think it is quite low for a man around age 30.
I understand that you are a bit annoyed as you do and live like someone who could expect a higher level of testosteron. I am a bit chubby, with an body mass index of 24 not overweight, but bodyfat around 20 % is way too much. I always thought if I could manage to get rid of too much fat my testosteron will increase. Sounds most likley your low testosteron is connected to PMO. Will you do another test after you managed 90 days without porn?

Hey man, it depends what kind of testosterone. I had a total testosterone of like 189 ng/dl. That's insanely low. My bioavailable test was like 89. I am not really fat at all. I probably have a body fat of around 10-14%. In my case, it probably has to do with stress, depression, and PMO.

You need a referral to a consultant endocrinologist (as I did). I was diagnosed with primary testicular hypogonadism. I am not sure why you reacted so much to the notion of testosterone replacement therapy. I have had it for years to achieve an acceptable level. There are so many options about how it is delivered. I used a testosterone gel that you rub on for a long time. But I changed that and I prefer having a depot injection of testosterone (by a nurse in the ass ) about every three months. Don't remain in denial. If you need treatment, just get on with it and live your life.

I'll keep that in mind. I'm not against it if I end up finding out that I have some kind of condition but in my case, I think it has to do with something else. But I will keep what you said in mind. In fact, I have a visit with a urologist planned next week.

By the way, how did it feel after you started going on the therapy? World of a difference? Can you describe the before and after as well as the degree to which your T levels were increased?
