Give people a chance to help you. Really, if you feel that you have nothing to lose, then going to a therapist is worth giving a shot. It might help or not, but you have to give it a chance to know for sure. It usually helps, though.

There's beauty in people who clearly see their mistakes, but it unfortunately takes much effort for those very people to see it. People who did terrible, obnoxious or 'unforgivable' things have little hope because our world discards them immediately instead of giving them a helping hand.
