You think you are so open minded and enlightened but it’s the same dark road that’s existed as vice since the dawn of time. The internet makes it easier to find, but it’s always been there.

Travel that Road with the confidence you know better. Everyone who travels it always does.

 

It's a pretty speech, but it's not really my experience. You really think women aren't primarily looking for a reliable guy with a steady job, savings in the bank etc. rather than a frivolous dreamer? It seems like you are more interested in being a fantasy figure for a teenage girl, rather than a life partner for an adult woman.

A few things I agree with here, but ultimately really poor advice. A huge number of men in their 30s still live with their parents (more than twice the number of women), many have no savings or a huge amount of debt. Who cares about that it's not the 1950s? Women do. Women care about that.

D&o obviously has some issues that he needs to work on to improve his life and get himself to the point where he can attract a life partner. Tearing up everything he has achieved so far and starting again from scratch is NOT the answer!

 

If you're trying to say I'm arrogant, that's fine. But I'm just trying to avoid asserting things that I don't have a good reason to believe. And yes, I try to be as open-minded as possible but I've never called myself "enlightened."
