  2. With time you should develop some tolerance and not get so easily irritated. Your body will get used to high energy levels and stop trying to discharge it as anger. Meanwhile how about trying meditation? Helps to develop mindfulness and keep it in control, so you don't attack somebody you later regret.

Also, don't hurt your joints. Muscle pain is good, it signals that you have had a good workout. Joint pain is not a good sign, it signals that you are negatively damaging your body and potentially preparing yourself for serious injury. Slow down, do something else that does not put so much stress on joints.

If you need to do an exercise when you're angry or need to divert energy, go swimming. There is no stress on your joints and will give you a new skill to learn instead of having negative energy.

I don't know where you live but maybe go to a gun range and shoot some rounds?

Hey just remember not to overdue it when it come's to exercise but exercise is your "best friend" when on this NoFap journey . I think your on the right track as far as you exercising , especially running because through my experiences and from what I hear/see, running is very therapeutic for yourself and works wonders when it come's to dealing with negative emotions [ Just run all the negative emotions away ] . Also make sure you have other hobbies that can keep your mind busy, take a break from people too so make sure you have some alone time and I would definitely recommend meditation or yoga to help release the anger in your system, this also works many wonders. Stay true my friend and always remember, peace .

Dziki, have you ever been around a friend who was giving up smoking? Lots of similarities here. I am surprised we don't see more posts like yours. Your brain is missing something, it's not happy about it, and it is letting you know. Hold firm, and you will soon feel better.
Keep up the good work, don't turn back, and be ready for the next stage. Whatever it is, do not let it surprise you and set you back.

There is a lot of good advice in this thread. I feel the same way as you. I will get a good streak going (6-7 days) and start lashing out at my wife over stupid stuff. I've been trying to mediate every night with the app on my iPhone Headspace and it helps. I'll admit I don't work out and I really should.

Im glad things have improved. I came here to say that what you are feeling is not unusual. Your mind does not like having its fix taken away! But it does ease up. And meditation is one of the best things you can do for yourself. Try for at least once per day.
