I think the best "super power" is the peace of mind that it brings and the fact we are no longer trapped in addiction, NoFap isn't about getting girls, but it does give us the ability to look ourselves in the mirror and be proud of who we are which people notice and in some cases its very attractive to women I guess, but that definitely isn't my goal

Well done getting to a year on hard mode, few manage that. Seriously, what percentage of guys your age with Internet do you think there are in world that have done what you have?

Did you notice any benefits at all? Some don't realise how good they felt until back in the addiction.

Have you been substituting porn for anything else? Food, drugs, alcohol etc?

Look at how you have benefitted others. First you abstained for a year which showed others that it can be done. You set a good example for people here and also in your own life. You never fuelled demand for porn, which may have stopped even one girl entering into the industry. This person would likely have regretted it for life and gone through a horrible time in the process. If we were all like you then there would be no industry and no harm.

Look up the PAWS threads. You will see people recovering but over the course of 2-3 years. I've been told by an alcoholic turned sponsor who said that you are probably looking at 3 years for the brain to really recover.

Don't give up, you will turn a corner at some point

 

Always best to be cynical about such posts. That's one of my pet peeves about NoFap - no one gets superpowers! I just don't know why such claims are made. I don't expect to get 'superpowers' and am cynical about anyone says they do.
