Well, I still say that nothing concrete will happen, for the reason that we(republicans) still hold the senate. Also, they've skipped due process and are using their political power as a campaign tool. They are the ones that should be impeached.
The problem is that it will amount to nothing in the short term. Nixon did not resign because he was impeached by House Democrats but because some Republican senators put country above party and turned on him. With the current gang of sycophants that is unlikely to happen. But what's most disgusting about the whole thing is not the unprecedentally corrupt and incompetent clown of a president. Nor is it the spineless Republican party which continues to pretend the emperor isn't naked. The most disgusting thing is that the racket actually works. A huge chunk of the dimwitted American population likes and believes Trump. The sheepherders at Fox News and elsewhere have done their job well...
