Intentionally lowering testosterone to reduce urges?

Hi everyone. This is my first ever post on this community. I have been doing my NoFap journey since 2017. I have done some good long streaks at the beginning. However, now it seems like they are getting shorter and shorter on average to the point where I am not able to get past 2-3 days. I tried lots of tips but ultimately nothing seems to work for me. Out of desperation, I came up with an idea of my own.
If testosterone is the cause of my high sex drive, and this sex drive is causing me to relapse again and again, what if I take some counter-measure to reduce my testosterone and consequently my sex drive. Now of course I am planning to do so temporarily just to get past 2 weeks.
The steps I have taken are:
Restricting fat intake to ~10%
Reducing sleep to 5 hours
Doing only cardio for the time being
I have done these since the last 3 days. I don't feel that great. However, my urges are not that frequent. From an emotional standpoint, I feel fluctuations like roller-coaster. Right now, I am somewhat able to focus on work, but extra no drive is there.
Is it a good short term approach?

Agreed. Dont mess with your system bro. You're urges are psychological. Not physical. You're body know exactly how much hormones to release and when. Its a 160,000 years of experience. The best solution is stop masturbate and let the body restore itself.

Sometimes I get very horny. Previously I used to jerk it off 2-3 times daily. In the beginning of my journey I was able to curb it out totally for 180+ days. However, once I relapsed from that, my streak length is progressively going down. At this point going past 3 days seems like draining of my soul. Please provide any suggestion. FYI: I usually watch it on my laptop. However, my work requires me to use computer and internet. My triggers: Going incognito, turning on vpn, browsing reddit. Please suggest me some solution.

I had a gf for about an 1 year. Then she broke up with me seeing my situation. Never contacted her again. Currently I am single. When I begun my journey, I was able to stop my urges then after few weeks I almost forgot about it. Now, I can't go past a couple days. Maybe 1 week if out of town, but that's about it. It's negatively affecting me. My anxiety has gotten worse, mood swings causes me to lash out at people. As I relapse over and over again, the withdrawals are getting progressively worse.

But I’m sure you will overcome it, because I see that you have identified the problem.
You have a goal but the way is not easy. But you are not alone. We all face the same.

If you struggle getting out of the relapsing circle, my advice is to accept it for the moment. And then choose a goal which is small. You say that you can’t pass the 2 to 3 days? What is your personal goal?

If you want to make 90days and you relapse after 3 days, I understand that this will be difficult. However, set your goal to 4 or 5 days. If you can make 3 days, then you can make 4 days, too.

After the fourth day, you are allowed to relapse. That made it for me much easier because the goal is realistic and instead of just saying that relapsing is toxic, you start saying that you will gradually reduce it.

After you reached the 4 days and allowed yourself your little relapse, you start again but with a goal of 7 days. And so on and so on. :)

And my personal advice, when you relapse, is to reduce the level of stimulation. Whatever stimulation you desire (any fetish or just binging) try go reduce the intensity. And each time you relapse you reduce it a little bit more.

Like this you gradually increase the periods in which you don’t masturbate and your gradually reduce the level of stimulation. That might help your brain to adapt to the situation.

I have been feeling like that as well. People say internet blockers do not work as they make it easier for you to resist in essence you would not be training your mind. However, an approach I am trying from today is using the blocker to get to atleast some momentum going then I will gradually reduce them. Cold Turkey is an excellent blocker for computers man. Check it out and see if this may work in the short term but remember not to depend on it. Your mind is the ultimate blocker.

Testosterone isn't making you masturbate that many times a day; your addiction is causing that. Do you think all the high-testosterone athletes and bodybuilders out there are jerking off to porn that frequently? I'd say most of them probably aren't.

If you're serious about nofap and want an extremely robust system that will block porn, watch the following video (made by a nofap member on this forum.)

Implement a DNS blocker on your pc, use app blockers on mobile phone and restrict sites etc. Everything you need is in this video, a part from determination, that's on you! Good luck pal.

Can you please help me understand urges from natural libido and urges from my addiction?
 
All urges are impulses in the brain so all of the urges, whether your an addictive or not, are neuro-psychological. If you want to control your urges, its a mind game, nothing else.
 
If you don't have an erection, then it's not natural libido. Do you have an erection when the urges strike?
 
Natural urges compel you to seek real women, and addiction urges compel you to seek porn.

I usually have a couple of random boners in the mornings and afternoons. However, when I have relapsed consecutive times within very short interval, the boners become soft/non-exixtent. When I am horny I like real girls and talk with them over chat. However it makes things worse and I jerk off.

My initial thought was that if I could restrict my hormones then probably I wont get as many urges and therefore have a lesser probability of relapse?
 
I doubt you can really do much to lower your levels, mine are likely pretty high as well... but I do avoid peanuts and cashews cause that causes my libido to become like a raging bull with massive balls crashing around going absolutely mad with desire. Besides avoiding peanuts, I take the following to help cool me off a little: licorice, flaxseed, peppermint, spearmint, sleepy time herbal teas like chamomile, hops(bitter ales like IPA). I also try to avoid caffeine in high doses like coffee. Some days that’s just unavoidable though

Stop thinking about women. Come back to us after a few days and let us know if you have felt any different during those days.
