Hi everyone. This is my first ever post on this community. I have been doing my NoFap journey since 2017. I have done some good long streaks at the beginning. However, now it seems like they are getting shorter and shorter on average to the point where I am not able to get past 2-3 days. I tried lots of tips but ultimately nothing seems to work for me. Out of desperation, I came up with an idea of my own.
If testosterone is the cause of my high sex drive, and this sex drive is causing me to relapse again and again, what if I take some counter-measure to reduce my testosterone and consequently my sex drive. Now of course I am planning to do so temporarily just to get past 2 weeks.
The steps I have taken are:
Restricting fat intake to ~10%
Reducing sleep to 5 hours
Doing only cardio for the time being
I have done these since the last 3 days. I don't feel that great. However, my urges are not that frequent. From an emotional standpoint, I feel fluctuations like roller-coaster. Right now, I am somewhat able to focus on work, but extra no drive is there.
Is it a good short term approach?
