Intimacy Anorexia

Hi,

For a while now I've been trying to get my head around why, despite being able to manage substantial periods (well over a year in some cases) with no P or M, I eventually end up slipping and relapsing. From the research I've done so far I've heard the phrase "intimacy anorexia" and I know I have some of the key behaviours associated with it.

The term itself has resonated with me profoundly and I'm trying to find out more about it but have not had much joy in finding things on line. I've heard specific mention about recovery programs associated with it and would like to know more about these but can't find anything specifically for IA on the web. There are some books (by Doug Weiss) but they seemed quite expensive and would like to find out a bit more before committing to buying them (plus reviews seemed to be a bit mixed).

Any help or resources anyone has on this, would be greatly appreciated.
