Can anyone tell if there are any disadvantages to Kegal exercises or its perfectly safe?

    HI MATES,

    I turned 25 this MAY 09 2020.
    I have been a heavy porn user for almost 8 years.
    Definition of heavy in my case:
    1. fapping almost every day
    2. fapping 3 times a day minimum

    The above lifestyle ensured my PIED(porn induced erectile dysfunction ) and recently in march 2020 I have experienced the very scary desensitization of my penis, which means I find it very difficult to achieve an erection even while watching heavy porn.
    Since march I have started Yoga and exercises and have somehow managed to get healthy erections but something is missing.I still feel that the erections are not stronger then before.Also I have noticed complete disappearance of Morning Wood!!.

    As scary as it sounds its true and I have panicked in the past.I have known about PIED and other horrific issues about excessive PMO and have been trying failed NoFap for the last 4 years.But I haven't given up yet, and kept looking for ways tackle this.

    ENERGY CANNOT BE CREATED OR DESTROYED AND CAN ONLY BE TRANSFORMED FROM ONE FORM TO ANOTHER.

    Our sexual energy is too is bound by the above law. If we stop masturbation the energy that is released through fapping will contour itself and move into better places.The results as per Fapstronauts are tempting and wellknown. But my repeated failures have made me realise to evaluate my ways and methods.
    Few of the following methods I could find through Youtube and Other sources on Internet.

    a. Kegal exercises ,
    b. Mul Bandh yoga ,
    c. Kegal Exercises and
    d. Nadishodhak Pranayam
    E. TRIBANDH YPGA

    The above mentioned Yogas and exercises have helped me channelize my sexual energy and convert it into productive energy.

    Just within one week of ESPECIALLY Mulbandh Yog I was able to get massive majestic Erections. Infact I could even maintain it like crazy.This new discovery infact reminded me of my teen years when I was 15-16. This age I used to get such erections. Never I had managed to get such erections.This was a new hope But this was not end to my problems as I still had PIED.

    (Note: Erections attained through Mulbandh after a week might not by full just after the end of the week as we have strained the muscles for a week hence give it a day or two and then masturbate just in case you want see the benefits.Do this only once to see the benefit as it will boost your morale.)

    Now, since I had discovered this yoga I continued my NoFap journey and found little success.I managed to go 7 days of NoFap with a relapse of watching Porn and masturbation once and then again continuing for 7 days. I couldn't go beyond 7 days.This went on for a month.But the 4th time I perished and ended up masturbating for 6 times a day!. This broke me and the guilt was excruciating.Now I stopped the yoga and everything for a while Just to feel normal again. I had went back to my old habit as it felt awesome to get this youthful erections but I realized my joy was short lived. I had come back to the same situation again after masturbating to porn once again.

    Now with the hope of completely eliminating this problem once and for all I have decided to start my streak of 90 days.I had started from 1st of July and currently on my 7th day.Yes and on the day its the worst. I'm having urges to even fuck any hole possible but I will restrain as I have faith as an experience No fapper that life goes on ,all you can do is stay focused.
    Hence , I will conclude my this post with the following Key tips for my future self and my loving mates.
    a. Routine is the Key.Once that is set 90% work is done.
    b. Meditation is the catalyst.Even thrice a day is beneficial.
    c. avoid any triggers!

    #90 days challenge!

    updating on my 7 days of NoFap.

    The 6th day i,e yesterday was the toughest...I tried to cheat by watching sissy and crossdresser on omegle but almost controlled myself. But wat followed I wish even my worst enemies wont suffer. They urges were out of the world!!!.
    But I contained myself .
    It was Ubiquitous for me to start omegle out of habit but this one almost caught me.The moment I resisted I lied down and didnt sleep till 5 am in morning. Ijustcouldnt sleep.

    But the urges reduced by next day and here I am writing the post.

    The urges have subsided anf again I would mention Yoga and meditation cycle have helped me.

    Hope I conquer this shit.

    1. DID YOGA AND MEDITATION FOR ONE HOUR STRAIGHT.
    2. HAVING NO LIBIDO ,NO SEX DRIVE, 0% HORNY.
    3. DELETED FACEBOOK AND INSTAGRAM TODAY.HAD DELETED ROMEO(GAY DATING) APP TWO DAYS BACK.I USED IT TO FING SISSY AND BOTTOMS.
    4. HAVE NO MORE URGES FOR IMEGLE AS OF NOW.
    5. HAVE CONTINUED GUITAR PRACTICE.
    6. CANT FOCUS SO MUCH ON MY STUDIES.
    7.HAVING INSOMINIA.
    8. GETTING ANXIETY OF LOSS OF MORNING WOOD AND PIED

    DAY 10--
    HAD A NOT SO POWERUL MORNING WOOD TODAY.FELT MOTIVATED BY THIS.
    STILL FINDING DIFFICULT TO SLEEP AT NIGHT ALTHOUGH I HAD SLEPT EARLY AND GOT UP EARLY YESTERDAY.
    PLAYED GUITAR
    HAD DONE KEGAL EXERCISES IN THE MORNING...LITTLE BACK EXERCISES BUT IT TRIGGERED MY BACK PAIN.
    AT AROUND 7 PM THERE WAS MILD LOWER PAIN SPINAL PAIN ...MADE ME FULL OF ANXIWTY BUT DIDNT SUCCUMBTO THE PRESSURE.
    AS MY NORMAL SOLUTION TO ANXIETY WAS PMO.
    HAVING DANDRYFF PROBLEM,USING ALOEVERA SHAMPOO DIDNT WORK

    THTS IT FOR TODAY.LONG WAY TO GO GUYZ!!

    COULD NOT SLEEP LAST NIGHT AND SLET @ 3 AM ...GOT UP AT 10 AM.
    DID NOT YOGA OR MEDITATION.
    URGES ARE NOT STRONG BUT MODERATE ..RELATIVELY OUT OF FLATLINE.
    DANDRUFF PROBLEM IMPROVED ON USING OIL AND LEMON JUICE MIXTURE AND RINSING WITHIN 20 MINS IN BATH.

    STILL STRUGGLING WITH STUDIES
    STILL A LONG WAY TO GO
    BIG B AND ABHISHEK DIAGONAISED WITH CORONA!!

    Cant control myself....today I couldn't study at all....strong urges have returned back and im kind of feeling tingling horny sensatons down there.

    No study could be done today...
    Did not do meditation today also.

    Not so depressed about it but dont wanna relapse.
     
  10. Hey old soul. You're doing a phenomenal job so far. Don't worry if you can't do other things right now. I would focus on NoFap today and the next few days if you are still feeling this way. I think you are doing that anyway. Much strength and resilience brother. One day we'll be free of the shackles of PMO.

    Day 14

    Personally bro , today its like a day of mixed emotions for me---I am experiencing urges as well as some unique thing like my mind is opening like literally someone had a foot inside my brain and its coming off in pulses . Its tantric. I think its effect of those meditating sessions I had done..two days back I had done two hours contionus meditation.
    This meditation is like first I did kapalbhati yoga for 20 mins straight and then mulbandh (50 reps) and then nadishyodhak pranayam (10 reps). Then I did some hip raising kegals.(all this time I had my eyes closed ...this helps to retain your focus throughout to get complete benefit).

    Im telling you bro im disgusted by porn and looking back im thinking what this world has become and my respect goes to u and all my brothers who have takeb this decision of NoFap.

    Ill tell you even if anyone relapses this is the only path to salvation and each others love and support is the thing thats gonna keep us going.Its pure teamwork.
    Guyz search all the yoga on youtube and inculcate them in ypour lives ...im 100% affirmitive on this ...IT WILL CHANGE UR LIFE.

    A summurized routine for my brothere

    1. STEP 1--20 mins kapal bhati pranayam or normal 20 reps of pranayam.(10 REPS ONLY..This is not recommended for those who have high/low bp /diabetes...so pleas avoid this)
    2. STEP 2-- mulbadh yoga (40-50 reps)
    3. STEP 3-- NADI SHYODHAK PRANAYAM-(10 REPS ONLY..This is not recommended for those who have high/low bp /diabetes...so pleas avoid this)
    4. Do pawan muktasan(3- 5 reps)
    5. Do hip raises (kegals-5 reps)

    All this time close your eyes for maximum benefit.
    Guyz go slow wen u do this the first time. As your body will take time to adjust but after a week u can follow thw above reps.

    No specific urges
    Played a lot of guitar
    Did Kegals and breathing exercises
    Persistent and chronic insomnia
    on day 16---got bad stomach ache from constipation
    Need to increse water in my diet a lot as Im consuming very less water
    No strong morning woods

    Jus broke my prevous record of highest No -fap of 18 days.

    lessons learnt for staying consistent

    1. Meditation is a must.
    2. NoFap journal and general interaction with my NoFap bros is a must.
    3. No pixels(no any form of half naked or arousing content);

    The following too I have followed but are not so mandatory as too much of goals can again lead to strees and Then relapse....So below are voluntary

    4. force this energy into other activities like guitar or gym or any hobby u like.(note: this hobby will give fruits only if u r passonate about it so chose something that excites u)
    5. Drink lots of water and maintain a clean diet.
    6. Good Sleep( I have failed miserably on this one but i have been linient for this)

    My progress so far

    1. Mind Fog has reduced consderabley and incresed focus
    2. I feel more optimistic
    3. I found lots of time on my hand...its pretty surprising

    Thats it for now....urges are nil ..sometimes in the morning I get but can be easily managed unless you put your gaurd down,

    Morning wood is still not 100 % ...infact 30-40 %...
    Since the above I think I still have PIED. CaNT check now and dont want to also ryt now.

    Still a long journey to healing!!

    Day 19-20-21

    Lot of Guitar playing [email protected] its like getting addicted to guitar instead the way I was eith masturbation,
    NO meditation and yoga for a while since my lower back started hurting
    Studyis I have continued but still linient although exams approaching
    No PMO and its day 21...I have officially broken my previous record of 18 days and its 21 and going ow.
    So Happy about that...this fact feels me with confidence.

    Still having issues with insominia.
    Sleep troubles me still.
    No junk food so far. And the benefits so far are only mental. I have improved focus and no mind fog. I kind of feel I have a deeper voice and got a morning wood yesterday (21st day) and it was like 40% erection...not a hard one,.

    Thats it for now brothers...love u guyz ....couldnt have done it without your support.


    Also I had urges to relapse but they were not so srong and only surfaced if I watched pixels on utube.

    So bottomline is do not experiment and try to edge or anything..its bullshit...so far im not experiencing any great benefit but only mental peace and will update on further progress

    The urges are back and I found it hard to battle the urges but like I am at home with no job there is no stress which helps me control myself and the streak has reached 25 days.
    On 25thof july I tried Pelvic floor balnce exercises. I came across this exercises in many of the posts my brothers have posted. So gave it a try. And yes I did feel wonderful jus onthe first day itself.

    Gonna update on the benefits in subsequent posts.

    Relapse

    I relapsed on 26th july...

    A long streak of 25 days..,y highest so far has been broken!!
    Some positives are that...I got a massive erection...something which I had lost at the start of the journey...so better erection after watching porn im taking this sign positively and starting again with my 90 das goal of No PMO.

    Lessons learnt and root cause theory of my relapse

    1. I succumbed to Pixels on youtube.Started watching interviews of drug addicts which sometimes were prostitutes too. And this soul reson was 90 % of the rson.
    2. I due to strong urges on the 25th day videocalled one of my female friend and we had sex video chat. Which made me masturbate nad I failed there. If I had controlled and did meditation after that things would have been smooth.
    3. The next day on 26th of july I masturbated once without watching porn and my dick wasnt so hard infact 40% hard and I came in like 2 mins of jerking. This actually demotivated me bcoz I had no erection. Probably was PIED. Still I had no intention of watching porn.
    Then after dinner I dont know wat ran in me that I searched for Porn on internet and I was hooked...Immedetly I had a hard erection. This erection was preety good and much better than my previous ones...I came after 10 mins of porn.

    Now although this incident marks my failure I somehow am assured that this method of NoFap is the real deal and is the only way to cure oneself from PIED and mental sickness of porn.

    I therefore now resolve from NO PMO for a hard mode 90 days.

    Wish me luck guys...and this 25 days i couldnt have done without u guyz and this forum.!!

    Lessons and some rational/pragmatic measures that I have noted down:

    1. first week is the toughfest and chances of relapse are high so once this is done your are good to go for the next one month. So we need to beat the urges in the first week.

    2. Stay away from pixels in the next 90 days. Just not even a glance.

    3. daily meditation, yoga and pelvic floor exercised

    4. good diet and lots of water

    5, no more chatting with my women contact as they eventually led to relapse.( this one is for 90 days )

    6. Daily updateing my journal on NoFap and reading success stories.

    So the judgement day is set on 26 October.

    Will update the journey on this thread!!...guyz keep supporting!!
