    I am committing to 30 days and maybe more. I have not had 30 days without since I was 12.

    I’m honestly terrified to discover what I am masking by using porn to escape. I am encouraged by what I’ve read about the science of the reboot.

    I have found that my sensation and desire for real sex has waned over the years in favor of fantasy. I also want to have a healthy relationship sexual relationship with my gf. So, even with the fear, I am going to commit to 30 days.

    Welcome to NoFap. Yeah, it's good to set a small goal like 30 days. A 90 day commitment is too intimidating for some people. For me personally, I take it one day at a time. If I try to think ahead, I get discouraged and overwhelmed. Each day abstaining from PMO is an adventure in and of itself.

    Thank you. I actually had a horrible time sleeping and eventually caved. So the first day didn’t go well. I’m choosing not to be discouraged though. I tend to be very black and white. If I fail I go big, and if I am successful it has to be perfection. I’ve got to retrain myself.

    Sooo uhh im relatively new too and here is some advice ive seen around; try meditating regularly, it keeps ur mind clear
    Im kinda like u, when i fail i just completely let go, try to control that somehow
    Cold showers (and me personally, i think super hot ones too) help u, maybe that'll get u to control things
    Keep urself busy with a hobby, so ur mind doesn't steer to urges
