    Hello,

    I look forward to this journey of recovery. I'm 24 years old, and I started PMOing at the age of 14. My friends from school introduced me to Internet porn. I've been using it consistently ever since. I wouldn't consider myself a heavy user, but regardless I'm still an addict. I've never really got into extreme types of porn or anything like that.

    I think masturbating & orgasm is holding me back from becoming the best version of myself that I can be. I don't think I will ever be able to reach my full potential if I continue to do it. Therefore, my intention is to quit for good.

    I'm brand new to the site, and I think it is great so far.

    Thanks, I know I can. I have quit addictions to alcohol & Cannabis. If I can do that, I can quit masturbating and watching porn.

    Hey, welcome. I'm still pretty new here as well, but I'd recommend that you a) find an accountability partner to help keep you honest and b) start a journal of how it's going for you. This'll make it a little easier to spot trends if you fail.

    It's really hard but it's not impossible. You need to have the right mindset and will power and a lot of failure before finally you can be free. Remember persistence pay

    I have tried to quit countless times in the past. The longest streak I've had that I can remember is 11 or 12 days. I joined this site thinking that expanding my awareness of the negative effects of masturbation, as well as learning about the benefits of NoFap lifestyle, will help motivate & inspire me to quit for good.
