ُThere are a few ways to block porn on your iPhone:
    1-Built-in iOS web filter.
    2-Safari Content Blockers.
    3-Safe browsers.
4-Proxies (removed as can't be enforced)
5-Supervised mode allows you to do much more like enforcing a DNS, disable Find My app and much more.:https://forum.nofap.com/index.php?t...rvised-mode-without-wiping-your-phone.305431/

It's recommended that you go through the steps in order:

SPIN Browser and blocking images and videos on Safari
-SPIN browser: The top rated safe browser on the app store

This one is a quality porn blocker and has a HUGE categorization database. It's regularly updated to fix any loophole.

    Download:
    https://apps.apple.com/us/app/spin-safe-browser/id1069119528

After you've downloaded it, you need to uninstall other browsers on your device leaving only Safari.

Now we have to deal with Safari and Webview (in-app browser) that opens up when you click links inside some apps using these two content blockers (both of them are needed):
    (credits to @Dobrethatface @Mostly harmless)

    Image Blocking

    https://apps.apple.com/us/app/image-blocking/id1042605950
    Image Blocker
    https://apps.apple.com/us/app/image-blocker-browse-the-web-faster-leaner-and-safer/id1031388281

After downloading the 2 apps, go to: iPhone "Settings" > Safari > Content blocker and enable it.

This app is going to block all images and videos on Webview and on Safari.

Right now, you only have two browsers: SPIN and Safari but no images will load on Safari. I personally don't disable Safari because I use it to open reddit and other potentially unsafe sites which are completely blocked by SPIN.

To prevent turning Content blockers off, we'll need to enable "limit adult content" in iOS Screen time (will be discussed later on) (could be also done using supervised mode profiles).
    -Using Supervised mode Profiles:
This is very powerful and highly recommended with tons of features.
    https://forum.nofap.com/index.php?t...rvised-mode-without-wiping-your-phone.305431/

-Screen Time (Thanks, @BeingBett3r for your tips!)
There are two ways to set up Screen Time:

    A) PIN method, your friend will have to enter a PIN on your phone and change your settings every time you need to do it. (Settings>Screen Time). This is the simplest and the recommended method.

    B) Remote method, where a friend can change your restrictions from his phone, by linking your Apple ID to his, through Family Sharing. You will have to change your Apple ID age to 14 years old, this will allow you to set someone else as your parent. Then you will have to turn off screen time from Settings>Screen Time. if you have it on. That's because people could use Family Sharing to bypass Screen Time settings that's already in place.
(more to be added on how to set up the remote method)

Either way, those are the features that we need:
    *
Limit adult content: This is the built-in iOS porn blocker. It
Filters all apps, can block custom domains and locks Safari Content Blockers. However, it's not 100% accurate and you can't depend on it alone.
    *Disable Siri's web search. (optional)
*If you want to block Siri search completely, first you'll have to disable it from Settings app> Siri Settings then block Siri from Screen Time.
*Disable installing apps (optional but needed in MOST cases). Alternatively, You could set apps to 12+ instead (Not ideal), when you do that many apps like Telegram will be disabled. If you want filtered Telegram clients try: Teleteens or Cloudveil messenger. Those are rated 4+.
(You'll have to enable installing apps periodically to update your apps.)
    *Disable uninstalling apps.
*Ensure that everything content wise is set to Clean setting: Movies, TV shows, Book Store, Podcasts, Video)

    For iOS 13 and above:
-You have to select: This is my child's iphone. Or you'll be able to reset the screen time passcode using your main Apple ID. (Thanks @Spitfyre175)
-You will be asked to enter an Apple ID when setting up Screen Time from settings. Do not use your main Apple ID or you'll be able to reset the Screen Time passcode.
You could let a friend enter his Apple ID (easiest) or create a new one here: https://appleid.apple.com/account.
Use Temp mail to sign up:https://temp-mail.org
It will ask for a phone number, so use Textcaller app for this.
Use a random password and save the Apple ID and the password on lockbox.pluckeye.net

Setting up Screen Time: (don't disable Safari)
iOS 12+: You have to select: This is my child's iphone, if asked to.
    https://flic.kr/s/aHsmGv7pSR

    iOS 11 and below:
    https://flic.kr/s/aHsmGv5xDq

    Extra:
A)Disabling and locking Find my iPhone through screen time (This is better done through supervised mode, this method is not perfect):
1-From Settings, turn location services for "Find My" off
1-From settings ,click on your apple ID (the first item in settings).
2-Turn "Find My" off. (In older iOS versions: Click on icloud -->find my iphone then turn it off.)
3-Go to Screen Time>Content &privacy restrictins>Location Services. Change "Find My iPhone" to Never then click on "Don't allow changes" in Location Services.

    -Old/useless
Apps here are useless. I just put them here for documentation

    4-DNSCloak

This a DNS changer for iOS but can't be enforced.

    https://apps.apple.com/us/app/dnscloak-secure-dns-client/id1452162351

Even though the SPIN, the content blockers together with the iOS porn blocker will block ALL of porn sites (as they filter using keywords) and enforce Safe search, I really recommend using DNSCloak as it's one the best filters on the App store and it will perfect this method. DNSCloak is also important if you want to customize the filtering on your iPhone if you're using a DNS filter on your router.

Open DNSCloak and type in the search: safesurfer
Select "safesurfer" and select "Use this server"

Click the button on the top left for DNSCloak settings and make sure "On demand" is ON.

Now click back then click the button on the top right corner and let your friend set a passcode for DNSCloak.

B)Prevent using Re mode: (credits to @Dobrethatface
Block the following processes using Pluckeye and/or Cold Turkey.
    itunes.exe
    applemobiledeviceprocess.exe
    applemobiledevicehelper.exe

    *old forticlient ios album:

  2. All you need is the premium version of 1Blocker. No need to overcomplicate it.

  3. guys. did you know all porn websites are blocked in Iran? do you know what happened after that? this country has the highest rate of watching porn on earth. so many people are using VPNs to see those websites. the solution isn't blocking websites because the problem is our desire. if you could control your desire, you don't need to block any websites.

  4. I agree with the general sentiment here but you've got to realize that each person will have a unique approach to this. Some years ago, Portugal legalized all hard drugs and while the trends all shifted positively, I'm sure there were still groups of people who were ecstatic enough to start shooting up heroin on the public square. Maybe measures like the one your country took are intentional exactly because those in charge know how people will react.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out that when you're told something is not allowed, you'll be that much more likely to want to do it. This starts in childhood.

  5. Blocking just makes sense. There was a time nobody had a mini computer with them all the time. Since most of us use a phone it only makes all the sense to stop a potential source of weakness. Sure we’d like to get to the point of not being weak, but some of us need a torniquet to stop the bleeding. Later on maybe just a bandaid. And for me, I will never have open access to the internet again. Just not something I need in my life as a possible temptation. Currently this is one of the only websites allowed on my IPhone. I have to way to search any other content since I don’t have the passcode

Kopykat, could you explain the setup you have on 1blocker? I downloaded it, but it doesn't seem to be as effective.

  7. You need the paid version.

Once you subscribe, open the app and tap on "Safari" at the bottom. This will open up "Safari Filters." Scroll to the bottom and ensure that "Block Adult Sites" is checked.

Right so it’s specifically for Safari, but doesn’t really work on other browsers and doesn’t allow for password lock and prevent from installing other browsers … I guess for some light blocking it’s a good solution.

  9. Honestly, if you seek out suggestive and pornographic content on your phone that intently, no blocker app will help. The only thing I could suggest would be to look into using something like NextDNS and configuring it properly. Good luck.

I think it has less to do with seeking P. and more to do with feeling safe at home. If you're an alcoholic, you shouldn't keep a bottle of wine next to your bed, that doesn't make sense.

The same applies to devices. MacOS allows you to block content 100% effectively. I'm finding it extremely difficult with iOS, because you're always one click away from something we all try to avoid.

Having checked NextDNS, I found that without working screen time, there is no app that really prevents users from modyfing their devices.

  11. The two are completely different. If you're trying to compare them, you might as well throw out your phone and computer.

There is no single effective way to do what you're wanting to do regardless of the device and/or operating system. There are always ways to get around most measures that can be put in place... unless maybe you do something password restricted and make the password some gibberish you can't possibly remember.

Hi Kopykat, I get it there's always a way.

I am speaking from the perspective of an individual who finds it nearly impossible to steer away from p. within just a few clicks, if it takes literally 30 sec to get this dopamine up.

Below is a method I'm hopeful will work quite well, when it comes to resetting screentime passwords, I'm testing it right now.

It introduces a fair amount of complexity that makes it very painful if removed. probably adds around 5 days of processes to get back your device back to normal.

For example, you need to whip out your settings, and it removes your wallet, which is a pain to replace with your bank (activation etc.), so I won't bother.

    1. Set up a separate AppleID for every device you use (you will lose all the benefits of the Apple ecosystem).
    - Come up with a long email when setting up your Apple ID. This acts as your screentime password alongside your actual screen time password.
    2. Lock all your apple IDs/passes in Lockbox
    3. Set screen time settings to allowed websites only + all the settings from the sinner's first post.

I have spent a fair amount of time with Apple support in the last few days, and there's no way around the classic setup within a single AppleID. Personally, I believe companies like Apple want you hooked on all their apps. The more we use them, the more money they make, so why provide tools that reduce the amount of money they make? no brainer.

If anyone is interested also happy to share my MacOS setup.

    Hi Betel,

Just block opera through cold turkey. this is however shortsighted. you need a custom profile for a standard user that prevents you from changing ANYTHING in the system.

and there are quite a few loopholes beyond that.

you probably can write a book on it - windows is so much easier. Apple is v. smart to addict users to their devices and made it really hard to have control not only over p. but in general usage of apps.

    Thomas.

What is the code/string needed to block safari on my iPhone? Bear in mind that I cannot use screen time since I lack the password for it.

I am not sure exactly what you mean by that code. But if you already supervised your iPhone, you could install a profile to disable safari.

    hey,
I use Cold turkey on my Windows PC and am very satisfied with the blocker. Above all, I have learned to love the function of being able to quickly and easily block unwanted websites in the browser itself during a running block. With other blockers, it is often the case that you first have to open the application, enter the password for the block and add the website link to the block. However, I am less successful on my i phone. Does anyone know if there is a blocker with this function as in Could turkey exist for iOS devices? Greetings

Hey, looking for a good blocker on iPhone that has an equivalent function to the flee command on Pluckeye. Unfortunately Pluckeye isn't available on iPhone and I can't find any apps on iPhone that allow me to block web pages based on the terms/words on those pages. It's frustrating because without such a filter, all kinds of content gets through even if a general "adult content" blocker is activated. Does anyone have an idea of an app that has such a feature for iPhone? Thanks
