Is depression a side effect of PMO?

Ive experienced the same thing man and yes it is perfectly normal so dont think that your alone on this. Im six months into nofap and im still experiencing depressive mood swings but thats because ive been edging so dont edge. But yes its perfectly normal because right now your brain is craving porn becuase it gave you that dopamine rush but the problem with porn is that your body is no9t made to release that much dopamine so when you take that thing that used to give you thar rush (porn) away it causes your brain to drop its dopamine levels causeing you feel depressed but dont give up man you got this the depression will pass dont worry

 

I don't have any scientific back up for my claim but I think PMO could contribute to depression, even more so if a person already has proclivity to suffering from depression episodes. The amount of people here in the forum that say they feel less depressed when they don't PMO is a lot and that has to mean something.

 

in depression my mind wants things easy no hard work run from the world and don't want to do things which are important well i feel shit everyday after every day bullied in school abused then porn provide me temporarily joy so it is like ' at least this thing is giving me happiness ' so i continued it until i realize this way is not going in right direction. fap is like my temporary gateway to heaven but after all i have to come back to hell , but then i change my mind from temporarily joy to permanent happiness i mean who wants to live like this all life ?
