Is it not just a good idea to just make sure every week is better than the previous week?

    Is it not just a good idea to just make sure every week is better than the previous week? and make sure every month is better than the previous month and so on.

    I watched a video of a good youtuber talking about PMO addiction, and that's what he said to do. He said just mark down on a calendar your progress and relapses, and just make sure you are always making progress.

    Basically as long as you keep making progress then you're winning.

    I think its a great idea to track stuff and observe its progress....may be we can do like a weekly report on Sunday and compare how we did in certain areas last week.
     
  3. I like this approach. Even if you relapse but are still showing overall progression in the right direction, it could be a visual of taking two steps forward and one step back but still being better off than you originally were. Try it out and see if it helps you.

    I would also consider other factors. Not to over-complicate it, but how many clips did you watch in a row? How hardcore was the stuff? However it suits you, because I learned that this can play a bigger role than how often you relapse itself. But I like the approach as a starting strategy.

    Yeah I'm going to mark down how bad the relapse was and stuff. Then just try to make every week better.

    Yeah because for me at times I already could mark it as success when I relapsed to a vanilla porn video and found it arousing... still, try to not just "get a little better" - if you relapsed like 6 times in week 1 and 2 times in week 2, don't use it as a justification on the weekend to go for another 3 times because it's in your jackofff budget or shit like that, thats stupid :D

    I'm going to do it with a green, yellow and red cross. Green being the least worst relapse, yellow being slightly worse, and red being the worst. So basically if I masturbated to a single image for a few minutes this would be a green cross. But if I masturbated to a youtube video for 20 minutes, or social media this would be a yellow cross. Or even if I masturbated to a single image for 5 minutes, but done this more than once this could be a yellow cross. Then a red cross would be like proper PMO, especially PMO binging. I will just put which cross it is at the end of the day. But of course my main aim will actually be to have a number there from not doing anything, instead of having any cross.
