Is It Possible To Block All Porn On The Internet?

Discussion in 'Porn Addiction' started by Deleted Account, Dec 7, 2020.

  1. Hello,

Im just wondering if it can be done.

    Thanks.

  2. Yes and No. It’s possible to block porn on your devices but you still to have to worry about content that may sexually excite you. Such as feet, legs, etc. I use an image blocker on my phone and my computer for this reason.

Does it work also on social media platforms?

  4. It should. An image blocker only blocks videos and images from appearing. That’s what I have with pluckeye.

  5. Yes it does work. I tested it out. It blocks images and videos. But you may still see porn but there’s no images and videos.

From my own experience over the last few years, and learning more and more over the last few years, I do believe it is possible to put your self in a situation where your basically at a level you can't really access any artificial sexual stimulation, you can't access anything that causes you relapse.

But to achieve this I had to make a lot of sacrifices. Getting rid of a lot of devices and having my laptop blocked up beyond belief.

Basically over the last few years I would discover more and more things I could use to restrict myself, and from time to time I would also discover somewhat bypasses, and then I would configure my laptop in a way I couldn't bypass it that way.

So I have kept learning from my mistakes and then this has just kept making the blocking system I have in place better and better.

Some guys aren't willing to restrict themselves though. Their not willing to get rid of certain devices. Like having a smartphone, being on social media etc, these things seem to be more important to a lot of guys it seems.

But yes I personally do believe you can put your self in a situation where you still have internet access, but you basically can't access any artificial sexual stimulation, you can't access anything that causes you relapse. I do believe this is possible.

But it's a case of how much sacrifices are you willing to make to achieve this?

I do worry though that I am not really improving my willpower doing what I am doing. For instance I basically put all my success I have had at nofap and pornfree down to simply not being able to access what causes me relapse. I don't put any success I have had down to my own willpower. On the one hand yes it is my own willpower that is causing me to restrict myself to the extent I am. But on the other hand I feel like true willpower and strength is still refusing the porn and artificial sexual stimulation even when you can access it. But this is not what I am doing at all. From my own personal experience I see much better success at simply not being able to access it.

The system and setup I have in place puts me in to a mindset where the majority of the time I forget about the porn and artificial sexual stimulation. I basically forget it is even there. But on very odd occasions I might find myself trying to find certain bypasses.
