When I was younger, I had some wet dreams. But because I've been fapping so much for so many years, it's been awhile; I can't even say how long.

Now I'm older, and I think it's a function of that -- and perhaps being overweight -- that it just doesn't happen as often. It's been 162 days total abstinence, and zilch. I was kind of looking forward to it. The real irony is that when I have an erotic dream, the dream me keeps saying No! to opportunities. I've really internalized this NoFap(TM) challenge!

Research show that 17 percent of American males never have a wet dream in their lifetimes. Among those who do, the frequency averages once every few weeks. Relatively few males have them frequently and regularly.

The extent to which a male is predisposed to have wet dreams (if at all) seems to be a function of how his nervous system is wired, which might go back to genetics. Of course, how often he ejaculates by other means can have an effect, but Kinsey thought that there is a tendency to overestimate that effect. He found that young single men with the most frequent and regular wet dreams often said that it was because they didn't masturbate. However, he thought it just as likely the other way around: that they didn't masturbate because they had so many wet dreams.

Hey, how is it going Phyzik? I'm in exactly the same situation. I've tried Nofap for so many times, my longest streak was 80days and it was longest flatlining I've ever had. It doesn't matter how many days I'm on it's always been flatlining, no libido, no wet dreams, no random spontaneous erectionz... Quite depressive. Sometimes I think I would never get out of this flat line...
