    Hi,

I've tried quitting PMO since I started at the age of ten. I've failed so many times the thought of actually being free is completely foreign. I know I am no better and hopefully no worse than anybody else with this problem. Sitting at ground zero with practically no hope. I'm going to try again; best of luck to everyone.

Here's maybe something to inspire you, or at least give you something to look forward to.

This past week I've eliminated porn from my daily routine (I used to watch like 4 times a day). It has changed me a lot even in just a week. At day four I felt like I was on top of the world. Confidence out of this room. I also accompanied this porn elimination along with reducing masturbation (I use to do it like 5-7 times per day). Now I do masturbation about once every two days.

It's been tough. I had a little bit of insomnia at day 3 and a slight cold headache that lasted for about a day. Other than that, it hasn't been too bad.

I didn't buy a popup blocker for porn (I know how to get around those). I didn't delete some pictures on my computer. Why? Because I know that I can always go back to that no matter if I delete or block them. I'm now accountable for myself.

Eliminating porn has been tough for me in the past, but this NoFap community has been great for the past week. I even got a friend to join!

So yes, it's possible. Is it tough? Yes. Are there health benefits? Totally! I feel confident. I feel in control. When I masturbate I feel like I'm 11 years old again. It feels great. All the fantasies are there again. So you can do it to.

The biggest thing is don't put too much pressure on yourself. Don't be hard on yourself. Once you can forgive yourself, it all works out.

    Preaching, done.
