I have read Pyroo's comment by email notification and thought about logging in and responding here for everyone who is facing a similar situation.

In November 2020 I've gone through a total collapse after a single relapse. Since then day and night were the same for me. Hell of symptoms as GAD, social anxiety, Migraines, tension headache, weird head sensations, DR/DS, OCD, and Depression, sensitivity from screens, and many others. It was a helpless case. And yep I had nothing medically, the doctors prescribed me anti-depression which I never took because I knew that's another circle of struggle.

Yes, all that has been mentioned in this article is caused by PMO, it will cause countless psychological and physical symptoms. You will reach a state of symptoms that you don't find anybody complaining about on the internet which makes you totally confused, yet you only know one thing, that it started after a binge or a continuous edging to PMO.

Let's get into the remedy here, after a long search I found different ways to cultivate my health and recover from the case I mentioned. First of all, you should know that whatever situation you are in is caused by PMO as long as no other reason was diagnosed. Secondly, you should know that whatever situation you are living in can be cured but with a strict recovery process.

1- You need to stop PMO totally including sexual fantasies and sex. You should also work on reducing the number of nocturnal emissions to once per month or less; this is done by defining what causes it (read the book I mentioned and learn from your experience about the food and habits that cause it).

Stopping PMO is done by cleansing your subconscious with rebooting materials, articles such as your brain on porn book. Not every article will help you in that, look after the ones that go straight to the point and I highly recommend you to focus on two books (Your brain on porn and Rebooting as the best remedy), then you can expand further to similar materials.

Stopping PMO is also done by a second factor which is vigilance, you need a strategy to stay away from the evil monster. Considering the place and time and the materials you use from phone and computer. I have removed the play store and browser and I only install the apps I want and I use my phone and laptop in a public area (not my room). You should be strict in this way, you have to sacrifice things, you may use other options as it suits you.

2- Have a healthy routine: Your serotonin is low, cortisol is high, probably in insulin resistance, so you need to adjust that.. No, don't take an antidepressant if you are sure it's PMO, if you do so, don't cut it unless by professional instructions from your doctor. You can adjust these hormones by changing your life habits, like running daily, exposure to sunlight, fasting, and keto diet. There are foods and herbs that help in that like Omega3, dates, black seeds (don't take any herb without physician advice and always do search and take a little). For migraines and tension headaches I use peppermint oil, it's helpful. Use exposure therapy for anxiety. Sleep enough, relax enough. Such life habits are the second main reason to recover.

Also check if you have some vitamin or iron deficiency as I think it's common to have low hemoglobin and Vitamine D levels for PMOers, and deficiency help in such symptoms to occur.

3- Avoid bad habits and super-stimulants, such as sugar (Ice creams, chocolate.. cut them for at least the first 4 months then take a little), sleeping late (very bad habit to your recovery), anger, overeating (it causes drowsiness, brain fog, and nocturnal emissions if done before sleeping), long settings, long staring.. Super stimulants are like Alchohol, smoking and sugar (If you are dependent on any of these then reduce first, especially with Alchohol and smoking.. tapering as best as you could). Once you realize your bad habits and understand them, you will realize how much they affect your recovery.

One of the most important things is to avoid any binge. A binge is not masturbating more than once a day, but masturbating more than once in the longest streak you made recently.. You may oppose this but you'll understand it when the symptoms hit. A binge is probably the spark of every increase in the symptoms. Remember this. If you relapsed once, it's okay, get back again to the track as best as you could. It will take half a year at minimum to start feeling improvements in severe cases.

Also remember while recovery, you may get into confusing symptoms, repeated symptoms, Keep going, keep going.

I think from 2021 onwards many members with severe symptoms will show up.. Hopefully, this addiction will be recognized soon.

This is a brief to my symptoms, my advice to all of you and to every hopeless person who searches on the internet for a way and feels alone on a lonely road, all the best
